Just stopped in for ice cream and chocolates. The chocolates are amazing and delicious. Although, the ice cream was horrific. It was the worst sundae I have ever had. 2 tablespoons of ice cream and it was all soup. They blamed it on the hot fudge and said try chocolate sauce. Made no difference. Then proceeded to tell me they do not keep ice cream “completely cold”. $19 for a sundae and one scoop of ice cream. Very disappointed as this was a far drive and first visit:(

Sponge candy Sunday prepared with Perry's ice cream, Hershey's syrup and whipped cream from a can for $11.91! Never again!! I had considered buying some of their candy, but not after having exorbitantly overpriced sundae!

This place is worth a trip. While waiting for a flight, we stopped in this shop and ended up loving it. The staff is very sweet, just like the array of desserts. A definite must see place in the area.

Love this place - the chocolate and the atmosphere! It's a special place with a great variety of chocolate candies and a family history. The entrance walkway even gives the feeling that you are about to experience something special. The sights and smells inside are delightful and I always want to linger, so many choices! My personal favorites are all things dark chocolate: covered fruits, sponge candy, and also almond butter crunch. Everytime I go there, I notice something I want to try. The employees are always friendly and enthusiastic. There is even an adorable attached ice cream/dessert cafe inside for a special outing when you are not in a hurry (good things take time!) The sauces and desserts are home made there. During busy seasons you may even get to meet the owner who will give you a sample and a lesson on the correct pronunciation of Alethea!
We were visiting from out of state and came across this gem after dinner. Immediately we loved the nostalgia. Everyone was friendly and welcoming even though we arrived close to closing time. If we lived closer, this would be a regular favorite for us.

Came in and ordered a ginger beer ice cream soda which looked delicious in the advertised picture on the counter. What I received was nothing like the picture, which featured it in a glass sundae dish with a lime on top My order was handed to me in a paper cup without a lime. I hardly tasted any ginger, even though the employee said it has a strong ginger flavor; very weak in flavor. When I asked why my order looked nothing like the picture, I was told if it's ordered after 8 p.m. it won't be served in a glass sundae dish. If that's the case, customers should be told they will not be getting what they are expecting! Very disappointing, waste of money, false advertisement!!!!!!!

My cherry milkshake was delicious! In addition to the typical ice cream parlor offerings, they have sundae and milkshake options that are more inventive than those you’ll find elsewhere. The current fig sundae special is calling my name! Next time I’ll check out the chocolate shop, too.
