Visiting the birthplace of the Buffalo wing was an incredible experience. The wings were cooked to perfection. I tried both the medium (the original) and the hot sauce, and the flavors were outstanding. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional, and having free on-site parking is a major bonus for a busy downtown spot. A must-stop for any wing lover.

The Anchor Bar is a must visit stop on any trip to Buffalo. Their claim to fame is as the home of the original Buffalo wing. We ordered 20 traditional wings (10 original buffalo and 10 honey bourbon barbecue) and a roast beef on weck sandwich. The food was great. The wings were crispy, juicy and perfectly sauced. The roast beef on weck was surprisingly delicious. The bun was salted with caraway seeds which set the flavor off beautifully. We sat at the bar and the bartender...

The wings are as good as usual. Tried two new things: anchor bar style pizza and potato with cheese. The pizza is quite tough on the surface but have a soft and juicy inside. They might just use broil mode to bake the pizza to get the crust. Interesting combination
