I guess I can start with while we were waiting to be seated, one of the hostesses, putting things in the stow away beneath the seats, didn’t even realize she dropped the seat right on me when she opened it. Then, after we were seated it took 10 minutes before anyone said hi to us. We were all ready with our orders by then. Plus I saw my drink sitting on the bar for over 10 minutes, with many times I saw my waitress just standing there near it. I didn’t really appreciate that it took over 20 minutes to get our pretzel appetizer especially when our entrees came out immediately after. I commented to my wife on how a table next to us didn’t even eat their sides, and realized why when I got mine. The food was lack luster and a little gross. Needless to say, I couldn’t eat my sides either. My wife’s shrimp was so salty, it was hard to swallow. None of us could finish the food. The whole time we were there we could hear all the tables around us having some form of issues, mostly not getting what they ordered, or things taking so long it was pointless. Saw a family walk out before anyone said hi. I don’t know if there was a manager around, but you would expect them to be more hands-on for the damage control their obviously under-trained staff wasn’t equipt to handle. This was the first time we’ve been at an Applebees in 5 years, and this definitely reminded us we’re not missing anything.

Management here really needs to get it together. For starters when you go in it's dark and depressing. Only one person looked motivated or happy to be there. The guy who was bartending looked at the same puddle of water on the bar at least three times and never wiped it up. He also disappeared to the back for 10 mins where no one at the bar was being taken care of. If there's any section you give attention to it's the bar with people sitting there but I digress. 10 mins later one of the female servers announced in broken English "that I'm bout to take a break in my car cause I can't stand these people yo. For reals I hate them yo."Cardi B would be proud!After that special moment I was served cold shrimp and cold chicken. Then we heard yelling coming from the back of the kitchen like a fight was breaking out. Management either wasn't paying attention, or refused to acknowledge it.Thankfully the regular bartender showed up and she was a sweetheart and provided quality service.Honestly there needs to be a serious overhaul here and this includes management . The employees do not care. The atmosphere is extremely depressing. And the food screams that the cooks do not care. I'd bet the house this is a product of management not holding his employees to a standard and keeping them accountable.

I've never encountered such a dimwitted waitressShe asked our table as well as another table what we ordered. At least 3 times. I overheard the other table complain the chicken wasn't correct. I waited 40.for.my margarita my husband already had a beer gone. The hostess was no where to be found we were.awaiting antable.over 15 minutes waiting to be seated. The girl was scowling I don't think she wanted to be there. She also had this big nose ring I thought was inappropriate to wear at work. I'm glad I'm from.out of state because I dont ever have to go back there again

Ordered dinners for pick up. The shrimp and french fries were so soggy that the fries were moosh and the soggy batter fell off the shrimp. Not appetizing at all.

Me and my boyfriend got the 2 for $28 steak broccoli and mashed potatoes. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were good and so was the spinach artichoke dip. The steak however was raw. We asked for medium rare which if it was just cooked wrong it wouldn’t be a big deal but the quality was sub par at best. My piece(which I did not eat a bite of) was VERY small. My boyfriends piece was bigger but it was still not quality and was also rare. The server who was a very polite and helpful gentleman asked us how the steak was and my boyfriend said it was the worst steak he has ever had. I felt embarrassed at first but he was just saying the truth! We go to Applebees frequently as we love the boneless wings and usually the food is good! Never ordering a steak from there again. I would honestly like my money back as it was not worth the money I paid for the food especially considering I didn’t even take a bite of the steak. Hopefully my next experience there is better!
