The spicy chicken dish is probably on my death row meal. I have it basically every day and I highly recommend it!

This place truly delivers authentic Korean food capturing the essence of dishes found in Korea. The prices are reasonable, making it a genuine and affordable taste. I hope to see the restaurant provides more menu one day.

I think for a campus eatery, it's good, and for Buffalo, good Korean style food. I had the kimchi rice bowl with chicken. I was disappointed with the side of kimchi i ordered for $1. They give you literally a tablespoon of kimchi.

In my opinion this is the best food you can get on UB campus. The 5 stars is only comparing it to other campus restaurants. So I highly recommend getting the spicy chicken over rice.

Yummy but they are so stingy with the beef :( paying $3.50 extra for 4 slices of beef bulgogi :((

The server at the front was incredibly rude last week. I won't be returning anytime soon.

I rarely give out reviews on restaurants unless they are either incredibly good or terrible. In this case I think Austin's Kitchen is terrible. There are only 7 dishes on their menu, I have tried 2 of them and both are very very disappointing. They are all simple dishes that you can easily made at home with the Korean hot pepper sauce that you can buy in Asian supermarket. Their dishes are all very blend and simple and nothing fancy, I would think that if they have such limited items on the menus then the food should be all special, but both of the dishes I've tried are mediocre at best. It is also really salty and the portion is so small that did not even make me half full. With that being said, the price in this place is way too over priced, for such simple dish and lack of option I would not pay over $10. They made you think that you are only spending less at the beginning because all the add ons (include proteins) cost extra. You need to prepare to spent $5 more on top of the listing price if you wish to get a traditional Korean dish. That make the average price become around $15+ which I do not is worth it at all. I only make it 2 star because their ingredients are fresh and I respect that. Overall the neighboring restaurant in commons are all cheaper than this one and has better food/ larger portion. And Austin Kitchen only have overpriced mediocre Korean food.

As recently as this summer SPICY CHICKEN OVER RICE was great. Today the nice pieces of chicken has been replaced by slices of some meat? Added lettuce too? Unfortunaely, won't be returning to what was one of my favs on campus.

It is not authentic Korean, but more Americanized Korean. That amount of kimchi was $1.5 and it was so-so. Egg in the spicy tofu soup was raw and wasn't fully cooked until I finished it. Flavor was too strong with lots of MSG taste. All I was able to taste from the spicy chicken was gochujang, which was not to my liking. They can try harder to improve the taste. The price is the most critical part I think. With the same amount of money, I can get double the amount of food portion from dancing chopsticks or youngchow. If they use fresh and good ingredients, they should let students know. Otherwise it is overpriced for students.
