Recently moved back to WNY, hadn’t had/made good polish food in years so picked up a few different flavors from market in the square… Im not sure what I actually was eating, the dough was terrible and hard once cooked in butter and onions not to mention there was barely anything in them. Absolutely disappointing…

I’ve always loved Babcias Pierogi and have spent a bit of time on the east side of Buffalo embracing my Polish heritage, but this summer Babcias came to the Cuba Garlic Festival in the Southern tier, I got to try the Pig Shot Pierogi, and it’s one of my favorites now!! I can’t wait to have it again soon! ❤️
high turnover with staff for a reason… completely unorganized and doesn’t see their staff as actual people…
only bodies to fill a position.
stuffed banana pepper is great though.

I ordered lunch from here today via doordash. The kielbasa boomer is out of this world! I cannot believe how delicious it was. I can't wait to order again!

horrible people to work for. only care about themselves at the end of the day.
Can't visit the Broadway market without hitting up Babacia's! If you are confused by all the different choices just get a trio combo and either pick what sounds good or go with what the guy behind the counter suggests... You won't be disappointed.
Ended up buying a bunch to take home and try cooking on my latest visit as we didn't have a lot of time to sit and eat, will see how they turn out, but as a bonus we got to go see how they make the pierogis and it's pretty wild.... Might just ask if I can take a whole barrel home with me next time 😁

My kids school sells these frozen monstrosities. They look like they are made of cardboard, and taste like cardboard.
I see the owner has no common sense and blames the poor flavor on the way people prepare them! What? Simmering till they float, then frying in butter/oil... then they still go straight into the trash. $12 for 6...
I bought Babcia pierogi for Easter this year. I had heard good things about them. I grew up on pierogi thanks to my Polish Gran. I made dinner with them as the main course. We started to eat them and everyone agreed they were awful. The dough and filling had no flavor, the dough was like eating cardboard. I threw them all in the garbage and had to make a new main course for Easter dinner. I will never buy them again. I will stick to the brands I have always used.
Stopped at the Broadway Market at 2 pm and was rudely told they were not cooking anymore Pierogies when their close time is listed as 5 pm.

They put their phone number on the front desk. But when I called the number, a mean person told me to stop calling him like I was harassing him when I just called him once.
They raised the prices at the Broadway Market on Good Friday. $ 20.00 for dozen instead of $18 as per the website. Over rated and too expensive. Live and Learn

I bought parogies at the Broadway market. Brought them home and cooked them the way they say on the tasted like wax. The worst perogies I've ever eaten in my life.
Starting with the pierogi trio, it provided a satisfying array of flavors, loved all the sour cream on the side!Hope to try the dessert pierogis someday! The goulash was the star of my meal! Goulash is a dish that relies heavily on the slow-cooking process to develop rich flavors, and it seems Babcias pierogis nails it in this department. The meat and well-balanced spices likely make it a standout dish on the menu. However, the golabki falls short of my expectations as it was under seasoned. The Golumbki, stuffed cabbage rolls, should ideally be bursting with flavor from the meat filling and the sauce. The lack of seasoning might result in a bland taste and a missed opportunity to fully enjoy this classic dish. But with a combined bite of the goulash I did eat all of the golumbki. The service was good and the ambiance is made up of whatever is happing at the broadway market which can be quiet, low-key, and a little eerie, but it can also be loud, busy, and eventful! Depends when you go! Overall, I will be visiting again!
