We’ve been here for the last two years of our anniversary and to celebrate our engagement, and went back for my partners birthday. They truly saved the day after we were saddened by going to Coco Bar & Bistro’s service, we tried here again and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in buffalo. I had the winter chowder and my partner had the maple dijon glazed pork belly and both were phenomenal. and the wait staff was so nice!
This was my first time here and I will say it was by far one of the best experiences I have had. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the baked brie which to start which was amazing. Dinner was the shrimp and risotto and the filet au poivre and both were cooked properly and the filet was a perfect medium rare as requested. For dessert we had the Jameson Tiramisu which was light and airy. We will definitely be going back there soon.

We had a 6:30 reservation for 2. The table we were seated at had food on the carpeting that was not swept up. The restaurant was not busy, however it took our waiter 10 minutes to come over to the table with the wine list. When we asked for two different bottles of wine, the restaurant did not have either one. The waiter gave us the specials menu; they were out of the Mac and cheese and had one pork entree left. I was so excited about this restaurant based upon the reviews I read and its close proximity to the Westin. What a disappointment, especially since Bacchus claims to be a wine bar. They do not serve wine flights, nor did they have our wine selections. The service was slow, and we walked out without having dinner. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone we know.
The first time I had dinner here. I was very impressed with the decor, food and service. We really enjoyed the music too! Stayed after dinner (and dessert) for some socialization at the bar afterward. Had a pleasant time overall. Definitely would recommend having dinner here for any kind of celebration.
Good food, but the staff is a bit pretentious.

First, let me start by saying that we had the most amazing waitress ever. Her name was Kristin and we will be requesting her again when we come back.
Our meal started with 3 small plates and boy were they all stellar. We ordered the calamari, artichokes and the mussels.
Our entree was the Pork Milanaise and the Ribeye!

My husband hosted a birthday party for me with 30 people. I cannot sing the praises enough of Bacchus and the staff, the food, the atmosphere, attention to detail, and the overall joyous mood that prevailed all evening. The chef made a charcuterie board unlike any I have seen. It had artichoke/cilantro/garlic in a wonderful olive oil to spread on perfectly toasted bread, stuffed cherry peppers, bruschetta, meats and cheeses. Absolutely beautiful. Salmon to die for, a filet so wonderful that every plate was clean! Lobster/corn bisque anyone?
Parking: Valet out front
Wheelchair accessibility: Entire restaurant is accessible, including rest rooms and outdoor patio. My husband cannot walk, and we have never had an issue

Bacchus Wine Bar and Restaurant recently hosted the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. Catherine Cravotta, Event Coordinator went above and beyond making our evening perfect. The private room hosted our group of 50 with an amazing buffet that was raved about. The private room is beautifully decorated. The drinks were flowing and the staff was so accommodating to my guests. Catherine was on top of every detail making it easy to enjoy my guests and my evening.

Food and service are great. Wine is truly unique. I'm sure there are slightly more interesting places, but Bacchus executes well and no one is going to best them on wine. Do yourself a favor and get a wine that's at least a decade old and enjoy!

Food was absolutely delicious! We are normally spoiled by being food travellers and living in a big city, but the food ambience and service here were over the top. We will be back.
Service was decent was very busy. I got a filet which was supposed to be medium. The steak was crispy on the outside and more well. The potato thing was cold in center. Which I expected everytime it cones on a dish the center is cold. The sauce under steak I was not impressed with it did look appealing. My friend got salmon which was very good. Our desser tiramisu was delicious.
Another great meal last night at Bacchus. The special, halibut with crusted shrimp was great. I opted for the spicy sauce on the side. Tiramisu was delicious, very light and worth the calories.
