I took my wife there for her birthday. It was our first time dining there. It was a Tuesday evening but still quite busy. It's a loud restaurant with that cool, hip, young professional type of vibe. There are lots of lowish tables squeezed together The menu is kind of interesting but somewhat limited and prices are high. We ordered the focaccia, beet salad, small plate grilled octopus, grilled carrots and a large plate of the tagliatelle pasta special. The best dish was the beet salad and least favorite was the focaccia that had a bit of an off odor and was just too expensive for what it is. The carrots were fine as was the octopus and pasta but both were very spicy in a way that seemed a bit heavy handed. With our wine, my wife had one glass, I had two and tip, the bill was $190. For that kind of money there are other fine dining establishments that offer a much better experience.

The food at Beacon Grille is amazing, we love the charred octopus every time, The duck was outstanding as well. We both had 2 rounds of the downtown cheerio which was a fun nod to the city, what really stood out to me, though, was the attention to detail, I watched the restaurant manager meticulously measure each table with a tape measure to ensure they were perfectly spaced, and even the placement of the silverware and napkins were exact. That level of care is shown with every part of the dining experience, you can tell this team takes pride in what they do.

Had the pleasure of dining solo at the bar. I ordered the olives and the half chicken It was one of the best meals I’ve had.The chicken was cooked perfectly with very tasty carrots and a yummy sauce of dates pine nuts, capers Great experience Can’t wait to go back

Really enjoyed the cocktails and our dinner. Service was amazing and they have a separate, color coded menu that lists food allergies and are very accommodating about substitutions. I’d put Beacon Grille up there amongst the giants in Buffalo Food.

Sat at the bar to enjoy a few cocktails and food this evening at Beacon Grille. I had the Oven Roasted Carrots which were AMAZING. My choice of cocktail was the “Peaches Peaches Peaches” which was super refreshing. Amazing service by Pat and Julian. They were friendly, fast, and attentive. Will definitely be back again and recommend to friends and family.

Food is really tasty with interesting choices of seasoning.It’s authentic too. really interesting options but I got to say it’s extremely salty. I tried different things and all of them were salty. I had the chicken and octopus and both were delicious.
My husband and I celebrated our 37 Anniversary and enjoyed the meal the drinks the atmosphere and the service. The charred octopus was tender and tasty and the wagyu, we were lucky to have, cooked to perfection. TY Julie and chef. Oh and the “Pav” pavlova hit the spot at the end of wonderful meal
