Grouper entree excellent. Calamari very good and desserts excellent. However ordered half lobster, first iteration returned since overcooked, second one better but clearly not fresh

They had several very young, very new server assistants. They left a lot to be desired. They did not know how to pre bus a table, stock, or clean quietly. The smacking of the broom on the dustpan as they cleaned the restaurant around us was not the vibe we were going for. They let our drinks run out while they stocked the bar.... Why accept an 8:15 reservation if you're not going to give the full fine dining experience? That said, the steak was wonderful and getting it sliced was great for my hands and presented well. The asparagus was harvested too late and undercooked. The fondue was ok, and the soup, she crab, tasted watered down and lacked season. We regularly enjoy fine dining in the Cleveland area and need to give a shoutout @Rosewood Grill for setting the bar for cuisine and service. The server did try, but those kids need much more guidance before being set loose. We will not be back.

Our server was very friendly, kind, and professional. My wife and I flew in from Philadelphia to celebrate my wife's aunt's birthday, and our server gave her and us extraordinary professional service. She answered our questions about menu items to our satisfaction.

I made reservations under my name it and made sure that I was the one. There's a charge of the meal and was paying for it. The wait staff pretty much ignored me even with my request. Mm bus boy or server took my sour right out from underneath. I didn't even ask then. Once he had it in his hand and it was taking it away, asked if I wanted it back. They were more enamored with the couple that I was with then the person that was paying the bill. I felt like I was not in charge of the situation which makes me never want to go back there. Because I am specifically asked and told them that I was the one.They're just paying the bill. Just because you're not the tall. Good looking one. Doesn't mean you can't afford anything and people should ignore you in the service industry. Don't forget about the saying, you know what happens when you assume, It just makes you look like incompetent. Which is obviously true when they specifically ask you a question on the reservation.And then totally ignore you

Haven't been in a very long time. Food was excellent and hot. Service was excellent as well. Definitely will go back.

Beautiful restaurant with incredible service and even better food. We came here for a date night and were pleasantly surprised with the lovely ambiance and service. They're very attentive and kind.

Bread came out stale to start the night followed by flat soda. Then cold Waygu meatballs only to be topped by cold Risotto. Very disappointing. It was if the B team was playing.

My husband and I dined here on my birthday and it was fabulous. The dinners are a little pricey but worth it. The service was very good-just the right amount of attention. I enjoyed the birthday dessert, too.

Once again, we had a wonderful experience at Black & Blue. The service was great, the ambiance was relaxing, and the meal was outstanding. We have never been disappointed.
