I bought the pumpkin coffee cake and a dozen of the miniature cupcakes at Christmas in the Country and I could have sat down and eaten everything!!! Super moist and delicious! Will definitely look for the shop to try something else! Thanks for the treats.
My friend and I went to Blackbird Sweets yesterday (my first time?) and I immediately fell in love with the vibe, the owner, and her incredibly tasty treats! Andrea was super down-to-Earth, wicked friendly, and just seems like an awesome human. Her almond raspberry crumb cake was to die for!! ? So moist, crumbly, and light with huge almond flavor coming through— I’d eat one everyday if I could! Thank you for being an amazing baker and sharing your delicious creations ? ??

We only tried three things from this bakery. A cinnamon crumb cake, a buttercream sugar cookie bar, and a caramel buttercream cupcake. My friend said the cinnamon crumb cake was good. I hate to leave a bad review but hopefully the owner can fix this issue and take some constructive criticism because nobody likes feeling like they threw their money away. First I'll cover the texture, the texture of the cupcake was great- soft and moist, the texture of the sugar cookie bar was a bit dry. However the flavor of both of these items was ruined by either being refrigerated uncovered at some point or some ingredient that was used in the frosting of both of these items was kept in a refrigerator that needs a thorough deep cleaning, because the frosting on both of them had absorbed the flavors of the refrigerator and it ruined them both. (Perhaps the butter that was used was kept in a freezer? I'm not sure but it definitely had a taste that was not good or fresh.) The owner was friendly and helpful, they did have other goods such as dried pasta Etc. but if you have sensitive taste buds I would not recommend anything that has been refrigerated until the issue is resolved.
response to owner- im sorry to leave a negative review but its not my concern to write kind reviews- i write honest reviews. the 2 items i had did not taste fresh at all. im quite sure the butter that was used was in a refrigerator or freezer that needs a deep cleaning. my sense of taste is extremely acute. i reviewed 2 other bakeries the same day and i didnt have that issue with any of their items. i can certainly stop in for a refund and to try another cupcake, and if that musty taste is gone i will update my review to reflect that.

Either way, I went in after I saw a hate post and wanted to give my support. I got myself a slice of PRIDE cake and cookie. The cake was moist and delicious. It’s a bit too sweet for me; I would skip the frosting that’s on top and in between the cake layers. I warmed up the cookie & enjoyed it. They were individually packaged. Not sure if they were baked the same day or not. There wasn’t much of a huge selection maybe bc it was the weekend? Next time I’ll try some cupcakes. A bit pricey but these days everything is lol

My wife and I first discovered Blackbird while trying out bakeries for our wedding desserts and have been hooked ever since. We got an assortment of mini cupcakes, brownies, brookies, and sugar cookie bars for our wedding and everything was a hit amongst our guests. We have been loyal patrons ever since and have yet to have a dessert from Blackbird that was not top tier.

Very cute store with lots of options. The woman who cashed us out was very nice and informative about what we were buying. Tried the Pride rainbow cookie and it was delicious!! Looking forward to trying the raviolis from the pasta peddler in the same building.

I got 4 dozen cupcakes for my kids college graduation. First of all, Andrea the owner was so pleasant and accommodating. Secondly, they were so moist, delicious, and fresh! She was so nice to do the schools’ colors. Everyone at the party was asking where I got them because they were so good! Thank you! :)
