I'm hesitant to post this place because I want it to stay secret. The prices for Friday fish is unmatched for the quality of food and amounts. It's my go to for lent and always ready in 20 minutes. Old style neighborhood tavern looks may be deceiving.

We have been to Blarney Castle many times. We used to just go for the fish fry during lent. They still serve fish fry dinners on Friday. The large portion is enough for 2 people. I have also tried The beef on wick which is very good. Last night my husband and I went. We tried The appetizers with breaded zucchini, breaded cheese sticks, mushrooms and onion rings. It was a very large portion and we were full before dinner I had The Chicken fingers and fries and my husband had a fish sandwich with fries. The prices are very good. There is a back dining area in case you don't want to sit at the bar. Our waitress was amazing. Always a good experience here!!!!

One of the best Beer Batter Fish Fry in the area. A nice neighborhood bar too.
St. Patrick's Day, had corned beef and cabbage. Honestly, I tried this last year for the first time in my life from a different establishment, a hamburger restaurant. It was so good I wanted to try it again this year. Last year, if I had the dinner from here, I wouldn't ever want it again. I'm sorry but it was one of the most bland, awful non-flavored food I've ever had. I would not recommend this place for a traditional Irish meal. I haven't tried anything else from here, but based on this meal, I won't be.
