I'm hesitant to post this place because I want it to stay secret. The prices for Friday fish is unmatched for the quality of food and amounts. It's my go to for lent and always ready in 20 minutes. Old style neighborhood tavern looks may be deceiving.
We have been to Blarney Castle many times. We used to just go for the fish fry during lent. They still serve fish fry dinners on Friday. The large portion is enough for 2 people.
I have also tried The beef on wick which is very good.
Last night my husband and I went. We tried The appetizers with breaded zucchini, breaded cheese sticks, mushrooms and onion rings. It was a very large portion and we were full before dinner

Just ate there today. Delicious homemade salads, nice size fish (offered breaded or battered), great fries and some rye bread and butter to boot!Nice, clean eating area with a friendly waitress Becky! So nice and attentive!You will make this your regular Friday night fish fry. I see they do to go orders as well!
