If you're at the BUF airport, Anchor Bar is better by every measure. Go to Anchor Bar if you have the time.
More comfortable chairs, better food, better service, better beer, cleaner taps, better music, more TVs.
There are probably more reasons I haven't even acknowledged.
Point is, the blue zone is a depressing uncomfortable wasteland you should only hit if you're short on time or an alcoholic that doesn't care about anything but convenience.

Seemed like a fine place from the outside but the food was truly horrible. I'm not exaggerating, the chicken tenders looked like bargain bin frozen grocery store food and tasted microwaved. Genuinely the worst chicken I've been served in a restaurant in years, and they were almost $18. Laughably bad. The most generous interpretation of events is that they ran out of the real menu item and ran to the grocery store to find a substitute. The staff looked like they hate their lives. Avoid at all costs unless you're just grabbing a quick beer. Even then there are better spots in this airport. Awful. Wish I could give zero stars.

Our flight got canceled, and moved to the next night. The staff recognized my wife and me as we walked by, and offered us free coffee. We ordered the beef on weck, and the staff brought us a to-go box for our chips without us having to ask for one. Good food, but the excellent staff made this visit for us!

First I tried ordering the cocktail on their sign and they said they were out of one of the ingredients. Asked for another cocktail and got a blank stare. Asked for a cocktail list and the guy looked confused about what a cocktail is. Asked what Bourbon cocktail he could make and he asked "you didn't drink much do you?" I said I drink plenty but I didn't know what he could make. Then spent $15 on a Bourbon rocks... Unless you're getting labatt blue, don't bother

Horrible experience every time. Fly in and out of Buffalo airport frequently and every time the employees at the bar refuse to serve me. They claim they cannot accept vertical ID’s. Despite my ID being gov issued, not expired, and clearly showing I’m of age to consume alcohol they refuse to “accept” it. I showed a photo of passport and state issued boaters license as well and the manager still refused service. The true irony lies in the fact that I presented the same identification to TSA to pass through security and they accepted it. How can a bar have more stringent identification requirements than a federal agency tasked with making sure aviation is safe across the country???
