I went to Dinner at Bobby Js tonight for the first time. We were in town for my moms birthday. We arrived at 6:15pm. The host was nice and friendly, took us to our table. From the start our server was impatient and made us feel rushed. We ordered, our apps and salad came, Caesar salad is great, just a bit peppery. Table maintenance was not very good, empty dishes left on table, and we had to ask for Soda refills. No proactive service whatsoever. There were five of us, our server...
Moved out of state a few years ago, but whenever im in town visiting family, i always go to Bobby Js. They have the best French onion soup around. All of their Italian dishes are delicious and their fish fry is definitely in my top 3.
Several of us went out to dinner for dinner theatre. The food was excellent and our server was very good. They were short on people who called in, but you would never have known. She was excellent and kept up with everything. Tomato bisque was outstanding as well as the oso buko and veal parmesan. Spumoni was a nice touch for dessert. The play was good. Enjoyable evening all the way around. It ends up being about $100 or so per person.
