Tried this place on a recommendation last weekend trying to find dessert after seeing Kevin Smith at Helium. The desserts were excellent. I had the dessert ravioli (plantains in a ravioli format with a banana fosters-style sauce and ice cream). I also had an excellent drink, the Sorrel Smash. The service was great and loved chatting with the crew at the bar. Highly recommend.

I had an incredible dining experience at Bratts Hill by Chef Darian in Larkin Square! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations.
We started with the cassava fries with aioli, which were crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, an elevated take on comfort food. The Taste of Jamaica saltfish and ackee spring rolls were such a unique fusion dish, with the familiar flavors of a traditional Jamaican breakfast wrapped in a crunchy, shareable bite. The tuna tostones were another standout; fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor with the perfect balance of texture.
The highlight of the night was definitely the tableside jerk experience with Chef Chris. Not only was the presentation exciting, but the jerk chicken itself was smoky, tender, and packed with authentic flavor. It felt both interactive and celebratory, adding something special that you don’t get at most restaurants. To end the night we shared the coconut and lime crème brûlée!
Beyond the food, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere that made it a perfect spot for both a night out with friends or a special occasion. The service was outstanding; attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food and experience they were creating.
Bratts Hill is an absolute gem in Buffalo, and I can’t wait to come back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend for anyone who wants bold flavors, creative dishes, and a memorable dining experience!

Went for early anniversary dinner it was real nice wish the “ Jamaican experience “ had more chicken only had one legquarter chopped up for 85 dollars lots of pork but little chicken .

I just left a tropical vacation when I left this restaurant. It was so fun and the bartender was so Sweet. He gave us a free drink for celebrating our 1st week married! We got married last weekend :) the cocktails were tropical and delicious and we got two salads, the jerk chicken Caesar salad and then the goat cheese salad. The food was 10/10. I can’t wait to come back 😊. Thanks guys! We had a lovely night.

I've been a few times for dinner and made it to their special Jamaican brunch event and can't say enough good things about the restaurant, staff, and Chef Darian. Chef is an inspiration with such a unique eye for creating dishes and menus that excite. Everyone needs to visit at least once. The scallops are always cooked to absolute perfection and the rasta pasta is a household fave. Catch me first in line for every new menu addition and special event!

Cozy and quaint restaurant in what appears to be an old automobile service station with large overhead doors. During the winter in can get a bit chilly as the large garage doors are glass, but in the summer the doors are open and provide an covered outdoor patio accommodating an additional 5 tables. The patio seating is typically alive with live music and people enjoying the Larkinville food trucks and outdoor festivities. The food is excellent with my favorite dish being the house specialty Oxtail Ragu, it's to die for. Handmade pasta and a rich, deep flavored gravy make this dish a staple Jamaican favorite.

We had an amazing dinner at Bratts Hill! The cassava fries, oxtail ragu, scallops and crème brûlée were definitely highlights, especially the oxtail (the flavor was just out of this world!). Had some amazing cocktails as well and the service was great. We will definitely be back!
We had an INCREDIBLE meal. The whole experience was amazing from checking in to service to atmosphere. We had the bread sea bass and lamb and enjoyed every bite. Some of the best prepared sea bass I’ve had!
