The restaurant did not feel clean to me. Very limited menu. I ordered Reuben bites. The menu described them as corned beef and sauerkraut. They had tiny pieces of corned beef in each Reuben ball. The rest was potato. Mentioned it to the waitress. She went to the kitchen came back and said she read the box and it said there was sauerkraut. Ok. Certainly not in mine it was mostly potato in a fried ball. From that point on the waitress was not very friendly.

Old not updated friendly bar. But wait, don’t ask for separate checks because they don’t do them. WHY, because their system is to old. What an excuse. What happened to customer service. NO get their money.

Been in and out of Brennan's for years. Either a quick drink, drink all night, or full on dinner. The usually have pretty good quality food, hardy Irish American style. Meals feel legit and are refined, not cheap thrown together bar food. Had the fish fry the other day, it was honestly maybe the best I've ever had. Couple factors made it great. It was cod, dark beer batter recipe, cooked well done. I don't care for coleslaw, but there's is incredible. Fries are crisp and hot. Just a great experience.

Update- eat in experience. Lunch, craving a Reuben so here we landed. Greated and sat quickly on a blustery Saturday. Dining was packed, even saw a banquet of red hat society ladies. My party of 3 opted on a shared appetizer of hot pepper dip, a couple of Rubens and a roast beef sandwich. Guys....the stuffed hot pepper dip was a cup of hot pepper soup with melted cheese on top!!! Huh? served with a mini loaf of bread. Ummmm no unacceptable at $11 you are passing off a cup of soup as a dip!! I regret not taking a photo. Laughable! When our food came out, I questioned the server about this dip/cup of soup he said yeah our Chef was in a mood this morning. Whaaaat?? So you all knew it wasn't par and sent it out anyway?? This non shareable cup of soup masquerading as dip was not eaten and was removed from our bill. I would have much rather them come back and said oh it's not available today then to try to pass it off. Luckily the Ruben was great.

Been here numerous times over the years, both for after work happy hours and dinner with friends. It's always been a comfortable place to hang out. Though I've had many items on their menu, my favorite is the chicken and stuffed pepper sandwich. It's served on crunchy garlic bread. The grilled chicken and spicy stuffed pepper are a perfect match. 2022-11

The food is extremely greasy. My husband ordered a fish fry and it was so bad he peeled off the battter because it was so over cooked and brown. Onion rings were drenched in grease. Very very dissatisfied with Rueben. Hardly a smattering of sauerkraut, little Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing but the most disappointing thing is it was DELI sliced corn beef. Are you kidding me? Go to Aldi’s and buy real corn beef for 2.99 a pound. Disgusting food. Sorry.

So sad how bad this place has gotten. I used to come here all the time after work for happy hour. I was so excited to catch an early lunch there earlier this month and was disgusted. There was an older man WAY over served and likely mentally disabled walking around picking fights, threatening women, threatened to kill one of the guys who asked him to walk away and what’s worse, the bar tender knew him by name! and all that was said by the staff was “calm down”. This man should’ve been arrested. I hadn’t even taken a seat yet and all of this happened, I was furious with how this WASNT being handled and the man never even approached me. Needless to say I didn’t bother sitting down. Unless this place goes under new management or ownership I’d steer clear, seems like they’re buddy’s with the local crazy’s that drink enough to keep the lights on. This atmosphere isn’t exactly Williamsville material.

I went for the first time in a while and was hugely disappointed. Will probably not go back. The beer was flat, sandwiches had soggy rolls and only redeeming factor was fries

It had been maybe 15 years since the last visit. Still a very good experience and the food items (Crock of French Onion Soup, and Reuben Corned Beef Sandwich [w/ Fries]) were very good, also.

Classic rock from the 60's, 70's & 80's played during our visit. The waitress was a bit short tempered and had to rush us to our order. They may have been short-staffed at the time but the place wasn't exactly overwhelmed with customers. The food was overpriced but not awful. The honey butter for the sweet potato fries had cinnamon in it which was a nice touch. The tiny amount they served with it was sad. The crispy coating on both kinds of fries was my personal favorite so, also, a nice touch. The Reubens we ordered were a bit dry but were as good as any I've had. The chili was very thick, which was awesome, but very bland, which was also sad. The French onion soup was also bland, poorly made and not worth it. It was alright for a change of venue but I don't think this place will make it into our regular rotation.

Brennan's has been my favorite restaurant for about 15 years now but sadly, there's no reason to return since they removed 4 or 5 of the best things they offered from the menu. Seriously, how do you get rid of the Wolf's Pot Roast sandwich? Now it's basically the same boring menu you can find anywhere else as this restaurant has become a glorified Applebee's. You had a good run though, I guess.

I always come here for the Reuben. It's the best i've had in buffalo. I went here last night and they were very busy. There was a 45 minute wait, so we grabbed a table on the thin man side where you seat yourself, which is great! We ordered beers and started witt the pretzels, which were delicious. When my Reuben came out the rye bread was black. I thought maybe they switched breads so I tried it. The toast was so burned I could barely even taste the corned beef. I'm disappointed because it's always so so delicious and i've never had any issues. I understand you're busy, but something simple like noticing the bread was absolutely torched before sending it out would have been an easy and quick fix. I'm disappointed and would have hated to send it back when they were as busy as they were. I won't be coming back again during their busy hours; when i usually go during lunch/ weekdays, I've never had an issue. I'll upload a photo of the sandwich if i remember, since I brought most of it home with the intention of switching the breads myself.

We stopped in last night for some Thin Man brews and pub grub. Everyone loved their food. The burgers were served on brioche buns and were delicious. The fries were crispy and tasty. Our server, Holly, was attentive and accommodating.
