Buffalo Iron Works is such an awesome space for an intimate music experience. The venue is cozy and there is not a bad place to hear the music. They have a few tables on the first floor and a small second floor with tables and a nice view of the stage. There is also a super convenient outdoor alley area. During warmer months, the doors will be open and it's a little quieter to be able to chat during the show. The music offerings they have are pretty versatile - from cover bands to EDM DJs, everybody can find something that they will enjoy. The bar is fully stocked and they often have drink specials. The last two times we were there, they were all out of Loganberry vodka, which was my only complaint. They have recently upgraded their kitchen and added more offerings. Their chicken fingers are so good - the breading is well seasoned and perfectly balanced. The parking can be challenging depending on what lots are open. Overall, Iron Works is a great place to catch a live show at a reasonable cost.
Cool venu!
Great service.
Will be back!
Amazing venue with lively staff. Great concert and general hang out spot.
Nice place
The classiest venue, food window and self serve water collers. Great place to boogie down!
Went to Buffalo Iron Works for The Spill Canvas concert and had an awesome time! The bartenders were super quick and friendly - never had to wait for a drink. The venue was clean (even the bathrooms, always a plus) and the sound and lighting were on point for the band. Great vibe all around. Can’t wait to come back for another show!
Do not go here if you care about safety—especially for women. My sister was at this bar last night when a man put his hands on her and forcibly pushed her. She and multiple witnesses reported what happened to security, but they refused to remove the man. Instead, they threatened to kick both of them out, even though my sister never touched him.
This is completely unacceptable. The bar’s staff failed to protect a woman who was assaulted right in front of witnesses. A complaint is being filed with the New York State Liquor Authority regarding how this was handled.
If the owners of this bar care about their reputation or their customers’ safety, they should reach out to my family and make this right.
Played there on Sunday 9-14-25 and it was such a pleasure to work with the staff and other band and met a lot more cool people. It was a very cool vibe and I hope to get back there some time soon.
Such a good venue! You can go outside and inside -- good sound, and bar.
1st time visiting from Niagara, Canada. Saw The Sadies play. Great atmosphere, impeccable sound and the band was ripping. Thank you Buffalo Iron Works! Lots of Buffalove from us.

Great atmosphere!
Since they responded and wanted to know why I didn't like the place, they booked a band famous for their crowdsurfing trombone player, and then their security grabbed his leg and dragged him down.
I come here often for concerts of all different genres. One bar tender sticks out to me for her pleasant hospitality and service. She is super nice and always asks how I’m doing every time I see her. She is very fair in the order which she serves customers at the bar. Her name is Megan with an M. She usually wears a head band, has a pony tail, and is always smiling 🙂
Drove up from Baltimore (Go Ravens - sorry ;-) )to see the Jackie Venson show. Had elderly relatives and BIW arranged for a table for us which was completely painless. Show was awesome as was the bar staff... good enough for me to buy em a round of shots! Reasonable ticket prices AND bar tab!
It's a great venue - small enough to feel very personal and large enough to hold a rockin crowd. Special thanks to Grace for being AWESOME!!
Super friendly staff. I played a show there and the sound guy was one of the best I have ever worked with
