Was there Before a Sabers game for some quick food. We ordered wings, chicken sandwich and a steak wrap. The wings were dried out and almost seemed like they where cooked hours before then a qick dip in the fryer and sauced. They were cold and hard to chew like Jerky. The chicken sandwich came with only lettuce no pickles or anything else, we had to request the pickles from the server. The steak wrap was ok however the steak was well done and really thick. A little too chewy. I had been before for hockey and the food looked really good. Unfortunately yesterday it was a big miss. It could of just been the day. The staff were nice and we had no issues with them. We were on a schedule and didnt have time to ask for new wings or we would of. I dont think I will be back. Even though the location is great

Very spacious bar, with plenty of games for kids. The servers were very accommodating of our large party.
Food is mostly pub food. Wings and pizza were delicious.

The security physically assaulted my boyfriend while he simply was trying to use the bathroom. barged into the stalls and tore him apart head to toes and left without saying a word once they found nothing. they ripped his clothes and his underwear.

To say this place is multi-dimensional isn't giving them enough credit. I've been to a boxing match, rock concert, football game, beer tasting, and a music fest all at this place. They do a great job The beers they make in-house are not bad. I had the pilsner and IPA, both above average. I've also had great meals. As a vegetarian, I was very pleased with the choices

Great time at Ales and Axes. This is our second time here and we will be back. The hatchet throwing is so much fun! We had 4 couples and everyone had a great time. Afterwards we ordered pizza, wings, poutine and pretzels. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Atmosphere is great. Servers are friendly and efficient. Lots of great entertainment options. Lots of parking. The food was a disappointment. Protein was very small per entree. Fish fry was a good portion, but could not order broiled. Nachos had about half a chicken breast, as did the Mac attack adding protein. The cheese sauce did not have a good flavor. The steak wrap was also a small protein size. Kids meal was good

It's an ok place to go. Much better to go there in the summer to enjoy all the outdoor area. Food is just ok.
