Buffalo Soul is one of my go to places for good drinks, food, and service. Every time I've been here, I've received great service and consistently good food. When you call and order, you can expect your food to be prepared in the estimated time. If you haven't been to Buffalo Soul, you have to go!

Being from Louisiana this my spot for soul food and music and the mix drinks was nice ? it was worth the wait. Definitely will be back. That banana pudding did me right almost better than my own. Hats off to the chef.

The secret sauce is definitely something you write home about! Stopped in for a steak hoagie with a side of dressing and I was not disappointed! I cannot wait to stop in again and try all the sides. When I tell you the secret sauce is delicious and really brings the entire hoagie together, I could eat it by the spoon full! Served piping hot with banana peppers, definitely a must try! Greeted by a fantastic bartender and surrounded by great music, they definitely welcome you right on in and make you wanna stay all night. Drink menu is perfectly coordinated and the lemonade is delicious! They are now located directly across the street from Sheas and a great stop for a before or after performance drink! They even have brunch! Be sure to follow them on fb for updates! See ya'll at the next brunch

Welcoming and friendly staff, we were able to seat ourselves. The food was good and had good flavor however the portions were small I mean why not 3 peices of chicken? 2 isn't enough, I would try them out one more time.

Spent a Saturday "Girls Night Out" at Buffalo Soul and we had a very nice time. Great drinks, I had the Call Me Calypso and one of the margaritas. Both were good but the Calypso was my favorite. Being that we're Southern girls, we were pleasantly surprised with the food! If you visit, you must order the Chicken Wing dip. I don't really do dips, but this was unbelievably good! The owners were very friendly and attentive, and the music gave it such a chill vibe-90s and 2000s R&B and Hip hop that you can sing along to after a couple of calypsos ;-) Please go check them out if visiting the downtown Buffalo area. We are so glad we did.

The fish taste so good I had mac & cheese and candid yams as my sides and for dessert their banana pudding. They need a little more cheese & the Mac & cheese and just a little less sugar in the yams but I still enjoy that fish dinner. The banana pudding was absolutely delicious ?

I usually cook because I’ve been so disappointed in other restaurants around Buffalo. A friend recommended Buffalo Soul and I came here two days in a row because I was so pleased with the service and food!! As a Houston girl I have high expectations for food and they’ve hit the mark each time. Staff are so nice, such a nice vibe, and the other people are easy going. Great place to go alone or catch the game with some friends. Has a nice bar with assortment of drinks. Would highly recommend because I would go back.

Last weekend for my birthday I wanted Soul food but 100% did not feel like cooking lol. My husband suggested we go sit down at Buffalo Soul and vibe out. We did that in fact I had so much fun with him I forgot to take pictures of our food and drinks. The service was great and the owner even switched up a drink for me added tequila in one because I'm not a fan of Hennessy lol. We had fried chicken, Mac & cheese, yams and greens. Everything was delicious . I would definitely go back there great place.

Buffalo Soul is literally located across the street from Shea's back door! A friend and I decided to stop for dinner and were so fortunate to get seated after attending a show at Shea's. I ordered the "Key to our Soul" which was carribean spiced fried chicken. My friend ordered the Fried haddock dinner, which was a cornmeal and special spice blend breaded fish fillet. Both entrees came with two sides which there were many sides to choose from. I love dressing so I ordered the dressing and after consulting with our server settled on the Mac and cheese as my second side (I'm not a big Mac & cheese enthusiast). My friend ordered sides of Mac & cheese and French fries. I absolutely LOVED my entire meal, the chicken was crisp with a very nice spice blend while moist and tender inside. The dressing was fabulous, I could have eaten a meal of just the dressing, and the Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious (glad I ordered it)! The haddock was equally as crispy and tasty. The portions were generous and we both had leftovers to enjoy the next day - yum! We left so happy with our dining choice and vowing to return soon. Look beyond the darker windows which tend to give the appearance that the restaurant may not be open, don't be misled, venture inside and enjoy the welcoming and friendly atmosphere and dine on some really tasty soul food! You'll be glad you did!

Service was a vibe, came lookin for sum chicken and left with a better attitude! Me and my girl cleared the plate wasn't nun left to bring back for the kids, but their hunger wasn't in vain because I sure did enjoy chowing down till it was no left overs.

Went here for brunch and was asked 3 separate times what we ordered because the server didn't use a pen and pad and forgot our order. Waited for an hour and a half and asked how much longer until the food was ready. Waited another 10 minutes and just left. If you enjoy waiting 2 hours, this is the perfect place for you! ?
