Went for a date and overall I would give this a good experience but two things bring it down for me. One of this could improve on a future visit. Everything in terms of the main entrees felt overpriced by a $1-$3, including what I had. The second thing was the service. Our server was just not on top of it tonight and concluded our meal by bringing the check and literally dropping/throwing it on the table and walking away. Not a good final impression before we pay and tip.Now on the food, I had the skirt steak and cheese burrito which taste good, but felt a little small for the price, especially since it didn't come with anything but the burrito. My friend had the loco bowl with pork belly. The pork was delish and the bowl looked yummy, but they forgot the guac so that had to be received later once they for back to us. On the guac, it was good and I'd recommend trying their receipt for it at least once.Just some final tidbits: either the website is out of date or it's only at the bar or maybe COVID, but we did not get happy hour pricing on our drinks, which was a bummer, but also I could've confirmed that. They don't offer a complementary basket of chips and salsa, which of course isn't required, but feels so commonplace at Mexican restaurants that it should be noted you'd need to pay for those.

Two thumbs up & 5 stars!! The Loganberry Margarita, the Trio of dips & chips, and the Vegi, cheese & carnita quesadilla were delicious & enough for two to share AND have leftovers. It felt very safe & comfortable with all the covid protections in place & the staff was very kind & helpful yet respectful of space.

Reallyyy good Mexican on Allen! The food is always fresh and delicious. I ordered the nachos locos with chorizo and a margarita. It was LOADED with toppings all throughout. The margarita wasn't too sweet- I recommend the jalapeño marg. So good! Love this spot!!

had 3 different people waiting on us in a very frantic fashion. our main waitress (i think) had never waited on tables outside before and was now covering 4, would come out very confused and didn’t even know which number table we were, so no one knew which check was ours. our food was an hour late and cold. we felt bad because it was a very warm night in november, so they probably were not expecting so much business on a tuesday. they were obviously understaffed. :/

Wish I I could recommend with reservations.

Decided to get some takeout from here on our way to a friend's house on Elmwood. Was craving some Mexican so it seemed like the perfect choice. Their take out menu is a bit underwhelming so we decided to keep it simple with a chorizo burrito for myself and a chicken burrito for my boyfriend with some chips and queso to share. The tacos were ridiculously overpriced, being at least 3-4x the price of tacos anywhere else in Buffalo. When my boyfriend showed up to pick up the food the bartender was extremely rude saying "didn't you read any of the signs everywhere? Take out is through the back door." My boyfriend checked on the way out and didn't see a single sign anywhere and did not see anything on his way in either. He was turned off immediately after that. He picked up the food at the back door and we brought it to our friends a few minutes away. The food was nothing to write home about. My chorizo burrito was pretty good but wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. My boyfriend's chicken burrito was fine but, again, nothing special and he said he would definitely not get that again. The chips and queso were the same as any other mexican restaurant. Overall, nothing to write home about here. There are tons of great mexican options in Buffalo and this would not make my top list.

This place used to be incredible but it seems to have fallen off. The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. It took over two hours to get an order of nachos and a few tacos. Buh bye cantina. You used to be awesome :(

Rude bartender and the margaritas were hands down the worst ever. Couldn’t even finish them cause it was as if he poured straight fake lime juice into them. Then when we were busy talking and debating on food he got short with us and said he trusted we were ordering food per the nys law! We had not made up our mind but he treated us like we were gonna just flee after our bad drinks. Not a single other customer was in the restaurant on a bills game night and I’m not surprised why.

I lived for a while in San Antonio, and when I moved back to Buffalo the only thing I missed was good Mexican food. Well, not anymore! Cantina Loco is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Buffalo area, and the only one I would regularly go to since the original Agave closed. Their tortillas are closer to what I remember from Texas and the mole sauce was phenomenal. Their margaritas are delicious, and the place has a friendly, vibrant atmosphere. We haven't gone since the pandemic hit since they don't deliver to our address, but when I have been there it's always been clean. The only thing I can think of that might be a negative would be that it gets busy and parking can therefore be inconvenient. If you want authentic Tex-Mex flavor, definitely give this place a try.

Small menu but great food. The patio is a hidden gem. Unfortunately they have not been answering their phones but they are open!

We ordered for a birthday lunch for today in our office & let me tell you it was a hit. It was awesome. We had create your own taco bar with chips, salsa etc etc etc. They dropped it off for us and explained what was in the containers. OMG we can't wait to order it again for lunch. I would recommend it if you are having a party. So awesome.

Whoever has been taking take out orders on the phone is a massive turn off to anyone ordering. I asked for my order to be ready at a certain time as someone else was picking it up. She told me her time estimate was "basically the same thing" which was not at all accurate and then slammed the phone on me. You work in customer service. Either don't have an attitude or find a job with no human interaction.

Watch out for the Guac!I'm always a big fan of Cantina, especially the nachos. However, I recently had the chips and guac with a friend and was really turned off at the taste. It tastes like they put sugar in their guacamole. After asking the waitress, were advised they use rice wine vinegar in their guac which accounts for the sweet taste. WTH....? I still like the nachos but I would never order the guacamole again nor would I recommend it.
