I must say that UB is just another money making business. There is no way anyone can really learn anything there. The atmosphere is very unprofessional. I tried to get help from a person named Kim B. but she didn't quite understand what I was talking about. She must be a new employee and doesn't know her job yet. This so called University sure needs to find employees with a brain in their heads to do a professional job. There are a lot of great colleges out there to choose from. I suggest really taking a hard look at other colleges before wasting money attending here.

Excellent campus. I'm happy to be a student here. The building architecture on the north campus is unfortunately less picturesque than the south campus and other schools I've attended, but this campus has everything you need and one of its perks is that many of the buildings are connected so that in the winter or during bad weather you can get to where you need to be without needing to spend a lot of time outside.

Hands down best cafe on the campus,Super friendly staff. Best place to start your busy day
I went here for the first time today and it will be my last time. I quickly grabbed a salad and a Pepsi on a quick break before class just to find that the lettuce was browned and gross and the Pepsi was already opened and seemingly drank out of. The staff was super friendly and nice, but it was not worth paying 12 dollars just to throw everything out.

You can just buy a cup and DIY your coffee in this store. Staffs are kind. It saves me some trouble of being bothered by the unpleasant attitude from Tim Horton in the student union.

I earned my MLS degree from what was then called SILS (the School of Information & Library Science) & while much of my learning was remote - I was among the first years where this was a thing, I enjoyed my time on campus here. Most of my classes were in Baldy or Capen Hall & the Lockwood Library had most everything I needed for my coursework. I did spend some time doing work/study at the Charles B. Sears Law Library as well. The campus had a fair amount of student parking for when I did need to commute. The SILS program has evolved considerably over the years, adapting with the profession itself. When I was there, libraries like NYPL actively came to recruit new professionals. That was how I got my first job out of grad school. Some jagoff stole my rad Mickey Mouse umbrella in the campus cafeteria. They can go play in traffic.
