This bar is a joke now. The “Jamaican” food taste like it’s made by Americans. Tried to host my birthday party but the wench couldn’t be decent enough to call me back even though I planned it a month ahead. So I couldn’t bring my own dj to actually get the party started. So how about on the night I’m supposed to have the party, they charge ME $10 at the door and it’s completely empty. 3 djs playing trash music when I requested more upbeat dancehall, not that old school slow reggae bs. So $10 wasted for 10 ppl to be there holding up the wall all night. We just left, not only was my party ruined because of their horrible planning & communication skills, it was also an embarrassment knowing how excited everyone has been for my party just for there to BE no party. Caribbean has let us down once again but for the LAST time because I’m never stepping foot in this club again. It’s really fallen off. I don’t even think authentic Jamaicans run this place anymore. It’s too Americanized

This place used to be under a different name. Whoever is cooking the food now, I didn't get that Jamaican style of cooking and flavors with my recent experience. It tastes very processed. I had curry chicken and I didn't care for it and it made me very gassy. The seasonings were not there in the ingredients. I think it's under new management with different cooks. I don't recommend any thing on the menu. I don't think there's a difference between Jamaican and Caribbean food.
Parking: There's a store next door. I used their parking lot.

Omg the food was nasty! I’m Jamaican and I have to cook my own food because these restaurants in Buffalo NY are no good. And the food isn’t even cooked by Jamaicans.

Food is disgustingly disgusting now. They NEVER have plantains, the jerk chicken is nasty and too spicy, the oxtails are overpriced, the rice is always hard and clumpy, the cabbage is bland and hard, and the customer service is non existent. Save your money and go to Genesis Rising on Kensington!! TRUST ME!
