Sophia's Breakfast Bar & Grill

12/26/2025: I swear this place exists strictly to piss me off. Sophia’s is closed today. On four separate occasions I drove 45 minutes to get breakfast here and each time they’ve been closed because they’re on vacation. I feel everyone is entitled to their vacation but when you’re running a reputable small business, and you’ve been featured on a major tv network such as the Food Network, you should consider consistent business practices. I’m not a jerk, I checked their hours on Google and Facebook, the last time they posted on Instagram was 2022 and I called to confirm they were open but they don’t even have a voicemail set up. This time I even checked their past practices on Facebook posts: - 12/25/2024: closed Thursday 12/26 reopening Friday 12/27 - 7/9/2025: closed 7/9 - 7/14 - 9/2/2025: closed for an extra day after the holiday - 10/14/2025: closed this week Today there was nothing to imply they would be closed. No social media posts, no google business hour changes, no voicemail message. So I took the chance and when I arrived there was a poorly handwritten note taped to the door “Closed Wed., Thurs., Fri. Re-open Sat. 7am. Merry Xmas -Sam & Stephanie.” The saying goes “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” However, fooling people three and four times gives you a bad reputation. For me, Sophia’s is consistent in one thing, disappointment. Thank goodness for my backup plan, Betty’s.

Best restaurant in town #facebookcheckin

We had breakfast/lunch today at Sophia’s. What a great place.!! It was our first time there so we were not familiar with their wait system at the bar and jumped the line, lol. We ate at the bar because they were so busy, the bartender, a young woman was super efficient and super nice. The service was excellent. The food was so good, we will be going back. I’m sure.

I was looking for a good breakfast and as I’m visiting from out of town I was open to suggestions This place is what was suggested . It was beyond good and with service to match. I have gone back again this time with my mother for lunch. Everything equally as good as my first visit. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good meal with friendly service. I imagine I’ll go back and least once more before I leave town.

I was at you location this morning for my birthday and I was not waited on while the ppl after me was waited on and I proceeded to leave all the young man is sat me down and waiters never came to our table what a terrible experience on your birthday . Very disappointed in the service .
