On a normal day, I'd say CHR is pretty good. But last night's NYE wasn't a good experience. The stocky bartender needs to learn how to bartend and customer service skills. He's rude, condescending, and inept. Even though I like CHR on a "normal day" if I see this bartender again I'd likely walk out. Also, my Latino partner felt some racial discrimination from him too.

We were just kicked out of the bar because my husband Andrew Powers who does porn, wouldn't sleep with the patrons whom were friends at the bar.. lol We legit had to call BPD to give us a refund on our orders. They did it.. But the owner refuses to answer, etc. This bar is trash. It's been sold and probably won't reopen. But that said. Now they are arguing with off duty PD at a new bar over this when they followed us here

nice atmosphere, lively. good value... what a shame that the man at security is so rude... coming to every patron asking for mask even when we drink. why doesn't he ask proof of vaccination instead...
One of my favorite places. Great friends. It definitely feels like home. I do miss the precovid times like karaoke, but some day I hope things can get back to some semblance of normalcy. I will also say they do a good job of following the covid regulations, everyone wears masks and distances.

Y'all I'm so shook up right now. My fiancé, sister in law, her friend and myself stopped to have a drink at Cathode. I am white, the other 3 women I was with are black. 2 of the 4 of us had to pee. They have one woman's stall that has a door, and one toilet with no door. We all went into the bar together, looked around and walked to the bathroom. While I was washing my hands, the male bartender aggressively pounded on the door and started screaming at us. On my MOTHER we just went in to have some drinks and play some pool, but I had to pee first. I am still shaking from this. I've been going to this bar for 13 years. Please excuse my language in the videos- everyone knows I'm not a yeller or screamer- nor a s*** starter. Racism is alive a real here in the LGBT community in 2020. All I know is that I'm sick of this.
