Food is excellent, portions large would share next time. They should put the size of breakfast pizza on menu feeds 3 easy.

I don't even know where to begin. A group of us came to enjoy an evening on the patio but it turned into a total mess. When we arrived we were able to sit outside. We ordered drinks and were greeted, told the specials and then the waiting began. We received the drinks and they were good but we were missing a water glass and also a place setting. We had to have asked at least three times for both items. Our waitress was all over the place...saying she was so backed up and just making negative comments. She never said the food was coming and acted shocked when food did not arrive at our table. She went on and on when at our table. At one point she dropped our whole tray of drinks which was an accident but after that she continued to bring it up every time she was at our table and it made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. She called it the “suicide step” which was totally inappropriate. Some of us ordered appetizers, other pasta, pizza and salads. We did not receive any ordered food until about 8:00pm and we were sat at 6pm. We also only received 5/8 appetizers at this point in the night. Our waitress gave us two baskets of bread and both baskets had long brown hair in them. When dropping off meatballs at our table she said “here are your balls” which again is totally inappropriate while dining out. We finally decided to tell her to cancel the rest of the order because the whole experience was awful. She made a comment for us to tell the manager how great she was! We felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. We were comped for the food we had received and then had a discount on our drinks. The restaurant had a smell when entering and the bathrooms were filthy. I definitely will not be going back and it's a shame because it could be a great place with the location.

Service and most importantly the food has declined terribly. Bolognese was absolutely worse than a jarred sauce, great location in busy area, but needs new owner and chef

We went for brunch last Sunday. We had a reservation for 4 at 12. We arrived at 1145, was asked if we wanted to sit in or out, chose out and we were placed at a very sunny seat. No umbrella was offered. We noted stains on a couple glasses and asked for replacement at which time the server apologized profusely and took the water glasses. We didn't see her for another 30 min at which time we went to the hostess to make sure our server was doing ok. We ordered drinks and continued to wait for a long time to take our food order. All in all we ended up sitting for 1.5 hours in the sun before we had any food. They did well trying to amend the inconvenience however multiple tables around us got seated served and left before our food arrived. Minimal check ins from staff and we had to ask for our bottomless mimosas to be refilled almost every time. Needless to say we can't give Cecelia's more stars even though the food was good. I will definitely be thinking twice before considering them for brunch again. Very unfortunate.

Only go here if you like RATS! July 2019 went to enjoy a martini with friends.. so disappointed this used to be such a great place.. not anymore! Took more than 5 minutes for bartender to even look our way, she was not busy with customers, she was visiting with 2 friends at the bar. Finally got our drinks took them out to patio. Cushions on chairs by fire pit gross and dirty. Watched a RAT, yes rat walk into patio Martini bar (that was not open). Smelled something rotten, realized there was a DEAD RAT, in the bushes near where we were sitting.. so grossed out we just left! I will NEVER return! Too bad too it really used to be a great place!

Honestly just not the best. We got sat right away but we waited at least a half hour for our drinks and over an hour for our food. The food was not the greatest; I just feel like this place is hyped up because of the location...not the food. I could go somewhere more local and get better food.. I'm disappointed

I went here with my family for brunch on a Sunday which started off with us being told there would be a wait as the servers were all just sat and they wanted to ensure good service to everyone which we appreciated and there are a lot of shops around to make the wait go by quickly. The food was great and not too expensive and if you can, take advantage of the endless mimosas. 👌

New menu, all favorites are gone. Waitress, in a very snotty tone, told us we should try something else. Quail .

I wanted to enjoy this place because I heard so much good about it but having brunch here was a mistake. To start, my party had a reservation at 130. Despite there being a few empty tables, it took 15 minutes to be seated. To their credit, after waiting 7 minutes to be acknowledged, we informed them we had an increase from 4 to 5, which apparently required us to be put in a booth. After being seated, they offered us a outside table, so the table was an option but we were told differently when seated. With that being done, drinks were ordered and food not long after that. Multiple people order the unlimited mimosas and given the small chalices, they were quickly and weren't refilled as ideally as one might expect. They certainly didn't trust to leave us with the other to mitigate our waitress and busboy runs to refill. Our food was finally served after an hour of being seated. Some of the food was good but those who got the French toast got ripped off as the portion didn't match the price when they didn't come with any form of meat. Given all this and a bill being mixed up, despite clean instructions on the bill, I didn't tip well because most of the experience was a hassle. But to top all of this, the waitress Gina took it upon herself to comment to my girlfriend about our tips as whole in front of the table. This alone makes me want to fight the charge but I just don't need to come there again. I should have called the manager but I just decided this place isn't worth the hype or cost. Go take your money elsewhere on Elmwood for your casual Sunday.

It was better last time I was there 3 ish years ago, and I wish google let you rate half stars. 2 1/2 this time. Waited 25 mins for a stupid Martini. Dont order the quail-Its a plate of bones. Waitress couldnt remember to bring us extra paper napkins (asked for before the app was served). Someone assisting her brought them 2 mins bfore dinner came, with new cutlery, but only 2 napkins and walked away literally with the extras in her hand. 30th birthday. Me and my mom. Asked to be seated outside like an idiot and there was a party of 10 screaming girls next to us. Learned my lesson. Probably wont be back to throw $100 out the door. Switched my entree and to go. Still tipped the waitress 17% out of principle but she didnt do anything for it. Apparently waitstaff don't even introduce with their names anymore-I find this everywhere I go though.

i went here for breakfast this past sunday to celebrate my friends birthday. Food was delicious but our service was disappointing. We had an older lady named Gina as our server... We barely saw her which was understandable because they were busy, we didn't mind. But once we paid our bill we sat a little longer to finish our drinks. Gina came back up to us asking for more money from us and said she wasn't satisfied with the tip we had left her... Being a server myself, 1) i thought that it was completely unprofessional, rude and unheard of to do so and 2) i know how to tip properly.

The food was good as always, but the service tonight was very bad. We had 7pm reservations for 4 people. It was not very crowded but it took 40 minutes to get our drink order and another 20 minutes to order some apps. The server never came back to check on us and we had to order a second drink order from another server. Our food order finally came and was very good as always but service was terrible. When our bill finally came our server wanted to know if both our drink order was on our bill because we had to order from another server. We thought she was going to comp our drinks because of such bad service but she never did. We love going there and never had a problem like that before at Cecelia's and hope this never happens again or we won't be returning in the near future.

My girlfriend and I went for brunch one weekend. It was packed, but we had a reservation. We had bottomless mimosas for $15 and our waitress was ON IT. My glass never emptied. It was like she had super hawk eyes and came by every 5 minutes to fill it up. The food was so great and I just wanted to stay and eat more.

Delicious food, mimosas are small so the bottomless is the way to go! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back again!!
