Excellent place for lunch or dinner. Beautiful view of the outer harbor and excellent waitstaff. Delicious Lunch and fast service.

We were totally disappointed. Started out outside at the bar and we each had a Margarita. Cash only and $24 for 2. We then asked the hostess- who was excellent - if we could be put on the list for a table outside under an umbrella for shade. The day was beautiful and very sunny. It wasn't long before we were seated but the umbrellas did not provide any protection from the Sun so it was quite uncomfortable. There was an area with an awning near the bar that had several open tables but they wouldn't let people eat at them- we couldn't figure that one out. The food - we rated it about a 2. The macaroni salad was bland and just plain macaroni with some celery. I would give that a 1. The sweet potato fries were the best part of lunch. The Italian Sausage Hoagie was tasteless. The French Dip seemed like Encore Beef warmed up. The fries were just regular frozen fries. Our waitress was very good and when we paid our bill we asked why Margaritas were $12 at the bar but we were charged $8 at The table ( we each had one with lunch). She left to speak with the manager and came back with an apology and a free drink chip For each of us. The view is the saving grace- but not good enough that we would go back.

The food was good but not for 40$ for two burgers and fries, no drinks. Also messed up our order, and did not tell us it came with macaroni salad, That was touching our burgers. I hate to leave this review but I’m very disappointed. Service was fast and friendly however.

I came to eat twice in the last month. Beautiful location but food is just so so at best. The first time I ordered chicken fingers and received chicken wings. The bartender insisted I ordered wings but this is not the place I wanted to go for wings (I’ve got my fave wing spots so why mess with favourites?). I kept the order and just as I thought, not a new addition to my list of great Buffalo wings. Yesterday, with a different set of friends, I ordered my fingers, mild. They came with great blue cheese, average fries and fingers that were lacking any kind of sauce and were more like breaded chicken cutlets. Disappointed and will not suggest or eat there again.

Very disappointing. The restaurant itself was very nice and the location is awesome, perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the harbor view. I expected it to be a little better experience. Server was ok, never offered drinks, had to ask but that was not the issue. The food was so mediocre, average bar food, I ordered the fish sandwich. The fish was the size of a single chicken finger and the hoagie roll it came on was cold, doughy and twice the size of the fish 'stick'. My husband ordered the burger, no complaints, just an average frozen burger patty. With such a great location you would think they would invest in good food, or maybe because the location is so nice people will come anyway and they don't have to invest in the food? I just hoped for more. Too bad, big opportunity lost at Charlie's.
Excellent food, excellent service. Wanted a table outside, wait time was completely accurate. Had a beautiful sunset dinner with my husband and a fantastic Long Island. Highly recommend.

I only went once, so maybe I tried them on a bad day. Food was to go, shrimp po boy, and a basket of fries. I was working in the area and drove 3 minutes back to my job. It was completely inedible. Raw cold shrimp not battered or breaded, soggy roll with chopped up tomatoes and thousand island dressing. The basket of fries was 9 cold soggy undercooked fries, and what looked like gas station macaroni salad.

The food was pretty good! My steak was a little overcooked but still tasty. My aides were delicious! My wife liked her sandwich but it was a little greasy. The service was top notch! Ask for Merissa as your server. The atmosphere is incredible. Right on the lake with a great view, nice breeze, and had some good music playing.

The experience is more of a beach bar than a great night out place. It's a perfect place to meet friends and grab a bite. Expect decent fast food and you won't be disappointed. I recommend the three tacos.
