I have been here many times but not in the past year or so. The food is usually very good. The food seemed to be just basic(the sauce did not have much flavor to it). I had the lasagne it was a little burnt on the bottom but was edible. Just not up to the experience I had expected or had hoped for. The service was pretty good.
Phyllis was absolutely amazing. She made us feel like guests in her home. The food was fantastic as always. My son's ask to travel here from Indianapolis every year for their favorite Italian food.
Chefs is always a treat. Sweet sauce and heaping pasta portions. It’s world renown right in the heart of Buffalo so make a reservation. Gotta get the staple - Spaghetti Parm - a buttery and cheesy mound of spaghetti.
