Very limited menu. Not the quality of food for the price. Service was ok but waitress didn't come back to full up water glasses. Seemed a little disturbed that only 3 out of 6 ordered alcohol drinks kept on coming back to ask if we changed our minds. Prob won't go back

1/5 - Service was extremely slow despite not being a busy night at all and food was extremely bland and not cooked well. My fiancé and I went on a Sunday evening, waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our entrees. Couple behind us also complained multiple times about the long wait for their entrees. As mentioned service is extremely slow. Drinks took over half an hour to provide.Food is bland, not seasoned and is not worth the price tag. Ordered a filet, $62 and did not eat more than a couple bites because it was tasteless, and was not cooked correctly. Fiancé ordered the salmon ($38) and also stopped after a couple of bites.4 stars for atmosphere as that was great - beautiful architecture, and ceilings that give you a view of Buffalo.Read reviews prior to dining, wish we liked it. Absolutely, not worth the money; however, we LOVED our stay at the hotel! 10/10 recommend the hotel!

I will start by saying the positives driving some rating- our server was amazing. I can't recall his name (young kid with glasses) but he was so great and friendly and this doesn't reflect him. Additionally the appetizers we had were delicious- the burnt ends and the bread with the fig butter. But then it went downhill. We had to send back a steak for being well done when the request was medium rare. When the next steak came back it was medium rare but hardly any seasoning or sear on it. By the time the second one came out, my fiancée and I did not even get to eat together because it took so long. The potato wedges were hard and undercooked with his steak as well. Separate from the food, the hotel had what seemed to be workers who were off-shift dressed in going out clothes going in and out of the kitchen and at the hostess desk being loud and inconsiderate of those dining. That, coupled with the fact that the restaurant is not in a private area, was extremely distracting and doesn't fit the bill for an eating experience that is supposed to be more high end. Overall the cost of dining here was absolutely not worth the food quality or the ambiance which was super disappointing. Picture is of the crème brûlée and espresso martini which were both good.

We made reservations for 9:15. There was there was horrible amounts of snow in the streets. The restaurant has a main entrance that was locked and by the time we figured out that you can only access it through the hotel entrance we were 9 minutes late. The hostess said they stop seating at 9:15. I noted that we had reservations and that we had trouble finding the entrance. The hostes had no problem pointing that we were late.. we proceeded to explain our situation and she shrugged her shoulders. Then we just said we them need dining somewhere else. We left. This people have no interests in serving. Sadly, I was looking forward to the Osso bucco. Instead we walked down the street and had an amazing meal with great atmosphere and great service at Bacchus!

Started with a 5:30pm dinner reservation, due to some issues we had to push back to 6pm. Called up and had no issues switching. Arrived and was greeted with complimentary valet. You walk into the entrance of the ever so beautiful Curtiss Hotel and then continue through the lobby to the Revolving Bar. As you enjoy cocktails and company you spin around the bar while the bartenders remain in the middle. We checked in for our reservation and were immediately sat. We were soon greeted by our waiter David who is a full time culinary instructor and works part time at the restaurant. Not only is he able to describe each dish and how it’s prepared he knows what he is talking about and gives great suggestions. My wife and I started with a bottle of Moscato served in a wine chiller tower. We paired that with the crab cake sliders and Lobster Pizza. I also ordered a crock of French onion soup. The soup was too sweet of a broth for me so I didn’t really touch it. The crab cake sliders came on beds of coleslaw, served on potato rolls. We didn’t want to fill up so we only ate the crab and it was fantastic. Perfectly crisped on the outside and soft inside. The lobster pizza was outstanding and we saved half of it to be boxed up. Can’t wait to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow. For our entree we split the 8 oz. Filet with sweet potato pave and broccolini with an orange glaze. We ordered the steak medium and it was plated and served medium. It was hands down the best filet we’ve ever had. (Yes… we’ve been to Salvatore’s, and Russel’s) and this one was on another level! The pave was the best sweet potato we have ever had as well. I’m not a broccoli fan but the orange glaze put it over the top and I ate the whole thing. We finished our evening with a serving of crème brûlée served with fruit and whipped cream over top. We also had the pumpkin cake with cinnamon whipped cream. My wife and I LOVED the crème brûlée. Overall this was an expensive dinner but it was honestly worth each and every penny. The best meal, the best service we’ve ever had. I highly recommend everyone reserve a table and ask for David. To Chez Ami, you guys are very lucky to have David. What a server, and what a guy!

Great place for brunch! They have the best crispy potatoes. I love the ambiance and the staff is always friendly.

I was warned about the food being mediocre at best, but when we saw the pictures decided to give it a try. The food was tasteless and bland. And how can you mess up a budino - so dry and dense.

Been here a couple of times for happy hour, but finally went for a proper meal. I took advantage of their Buy One, Get One Free lunch special, which comes with the caveat of the second meal is covered only up to $15 (nothing is 15 dollar except the salads). So you will still spend a few dollars extra with the special. Still a great deal to get a meal for later or if grabbing lunch with someone downtown.I opted for the Chez Burger and Pulled Pork Sandwich (for later). The burger was 8oz Chuck/Ribeye Blend Angus with Fig Jam, Garlic Aoli on a Brioche bun. It came with a side of fries and was delicious! I highly recommend the burger.I took a bite of the pulled pork to try it while it was freshly served it was alright. It had a bit of a different taste to it that I'm used to with pulled pork, but that could have been due to the Citrus Coleslaw served on the sandwich.Overall it was a solid dining experience and I enjoyed my meal at the revolving bar, which is always a enjoyable time.

I took my parents and daughter here for Christmas Eve. It is their favorite restaurant. My parents are very elderly, and are always treated like celebrities here. The staff remembers them from their prior visits. Our waiter David anticipated our every want. He took it in stride when my dad asked to please box his entree because he wanted to go straight from soup to dessert. The creme brulee must have been outstanding because my father ate every bite and did not even offer anyone a taste, which is unlike him. The food was exceptional as usual. A bouche de Noel was amazing and so festive! From the valet to the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was warm and welcoming. I will continue to take my parents here for as long as I can. It made our holidays special.Parking: Our valet remembered my dad from prior visits and very kindly helped get him in and out of the car.
