Went here today for a burrito, I was super excited to eat my food and was confident that it was going to be good. I go there and not only are they lacking in topping for the burrito but the worker who folded the burrito didn’t even close it at all. I couldn’t even take a bite without the burrito collapsing, it was impossible to eat. The fries also taste like they were fried in 20 day old oil, overall I spent 20 dollars on this and it’s the worst regret of my life. DO NOT COME HERE

honestly so confused. i had this place years ago and it was more greek, i had gotten a chicken souvlaki wrap and it was really good. today i had it and it was more indian?? the chicken had curry flavoring all over and it wasn’t bad it just didn’t make any sense to me. and now when you look it up it says mexican?

This place gives like barely any meat, I got a combo over rice with chicken and steak. I was watching them scoop everything into my platter, they packed it in with rice literally to the brim and then gave me like 2 small scoops of both chicken and steak. The guy even took some of the chicken and steak out of the platter. The whole half of the platter was rice. The rice had barely any flavor and was kind of soggy as well. I have never seen this little meat in a combo over rice before.

You should defiantly try their halal chicken over rice .And omgg their hot sauce so gooood :) I also recommend lots of white sauce on the chicken . Can’t go wrong with that .

This branch of Chick Mex is located inside my college SUNY University at Buffalo's campus, in the UB Commons area alongside other good restaurants, clothing, accessories shops etc. Went here for the first time to get some dinner last weekend one night, two staff serving in the shop during that time were very polite, attentive, welcoming, and very friendly. Got a 'halal chicken over rice, which I would recommend with either any other protein as I would chicken. The staff did not mind adding more than one sauce on it when I asked them to. Also got a monster burrito, and both of them tasted so good and fresh. There were tables and chairs when I got to the shop several minutes before 9pm, so no customers were there, but I can guarantee the service and atmosphere in general would be very friendly, welcoming, comforting and relaxingly.

Best WHITE GARLIC SAUCE shawarma, AND also, the best j*** chicken in Buffalo area... My wife and I are from outside of Toronto/Mississauga area, where you can arguably find some of the best shawarma. Have now tried about 6 or 7 places in the Buffalo area, and this is the best location of all so far. Gotta love that classic, creamy, irresistible white garlic sauce and the hot sauce is superb as well.For $10.99 (as of 11/9/2022), they feed you like the royalty you are. It is not a small skimpy portion like Pita Pit or other locations that charge $16.00+ for the same meal. Always comes with a double to triple scoop of delicious yellow rice (or sub for fresh fries) and a good 2 large scoops of shawarma chicken.Parking in the nearby UB parking lot is free for an hour. Makes one reminisce on their college/university days.
I loved the Food and my favorite part was the Bottle opener for the Mexican coke.

I used to go here a lot. One time they f***** up my order and I tasted the issue when I put it in my mouth. I told them hey you messed up my order. Didn't know it's their policy to not redo your order if THEY messed up. They refused to redo my order because I took one bite out of the food. How would I know there's an issue with the food without tasting it? Wont go back there again and honestly wouldn't advise anyone else to go either. Don't care about customers and making it up to them when they messed up.
