Best bar in Buffalo! Great atmosphere, the cocktails and food are delicious and the staff is super friendly.

I really wanted to like this place, it's super cute. But both the food and drinks were bad. Really no suger coating it. We had apps and ceasar salads and I really could have had a much better meal if I made the exact same things at home. Shrimp cocktail was tiny little shrimp, the bruschetta had a weird bread, and the ceasar salad was basically soggy lettuce with tons of anchovies on top. Martinis weren't great. Bartender was very sweet tho.

We had an okay experience here. I expected a little more for the price. Service at the bar was friendly, but we had to wave down the bartender (of which there were three) to get my friend a drink after she arrived and had waited for a while to be noticed. When we finished our drinks, we were not asked if we would like another. I did not find the service attentive. Our cocktails were acceptable, not amazing. Our food was somewhat mediocre. We had raw oysters, the olive bowl, and whipped ricotta with toast. Everything tasted okay, but I thought the presentation and style was lacking. We love Romeo and Juliet’s, owned by the same folks, and were excited to try this cocktail lounge down the street, but ultimately I was disappointed.

Stopped in for a little snack and a few drinks. Good beer and bourbon selections and the charcuterie platter was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and working hard! Nice decor and comfy couches!

We recently had our twins college graduation party at Caio Caio and were extremely satisfied with the whole process from scheduling and planning (Gina) to the party itself. The food was delicious and service was exceptional. Nick and his crew were on top of their game!! Everyone had a great time and we received numerous comments on how great everything was, especially the focaccia sandwiches and mini cannolis. We live down the street and will definitely be back soon.

Thank you All ?

The Viv sandwich was absolutely delicious! We also tried the Watermelon Gin Fizz, Dirty Martini, and Espresso Martini, which were all tasty. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back to Ciao Ciao.

Our group arrived and got seated on the patio around 5pm. We did not receive our drinks until about 6pm, and we did not receive our food until after 7pm. After waiting 2 hours for dinner, the pasta dishes were bland, cold, and had a strange aftertaste. We saw our server maybe 3-4 times the whole 3 hours that we were forced to spend there just to get our food and pay our bill. Worst dining experiene I've in Buffalo in the last few years.

Our server was lovely but taking care of too many tables to actually take care of us. Drinks were way too surgery and the new summer menu is not great. I wouldn’t do it again any time soon, if ever.

Thank you for your reply. We were in on Saturday the 25th. I ordered the Irish Mexican cocktail and forgot what my partner had. We did the deviled eggs and the cold salad with cucumbers, peas, tomatoes etc. As stated our server was lovely but it seemed short staffed (completely understandable). Which we never mind due to frequenting many establishments in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. The food was really bland and not what we were expecting.

I ordered the lobster ravioli and the portion was small and the taste was mediocre, especially for the price. I liked the atmosphere for hanging out with friends and having a drink or two.

Been here a few times and never had a bad experience. This time I had a dish that was called baked brie. It was baked Brie covered in crispy prosciutto, with a side of jam and crustinis. I believe it said hot hunny on the menu too but I didn't taste that part, it was delicious. Yesterday happened to be extremely busy, but with the warm weather coming around that is to be expected on Hertel. Another bartender probably would have heightened the experience. Otherwise, cozy and comfortable environment. Even with the lack of help, the ladies did an excellent job.
