Coco was just fine overall with solid food options and a wonderful interior. I found the burger to be lacking, with a mild flavor, and the same went for the steak frites. Go for a nice date, and the wonderful dessert, but perhaps look elsewhere if you are looking for unique flavors for the price. (I do believe the mussels are to die for if you love them)

My wife & I had a wonderful experience at Coco last night. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Our server, Brie, was excellent - very attentive, courteous and personable. We shared the lamb burger and an order of moules - both were fabulously delicious. Prices were very reasonable. We will return in the not too distant future.

I was so hopeful about this place but I think I may have caught them on a bad night. Pricing was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful but dinner left a lot to be desired.

We ordered the rosemary frites as an appetizer and they were extremely overcooked but the aoli was great. I had the duck breast which was flavorful, but the fat needed to be rendered quite a bit more, and the rice that came with it was VERY salty. The spiced squash and wine were delicious though.

My partner got the French onion burger and loved it, however he was on his third old fashioned and it tasted like they changed bartenders in the middle of dinner because of the amount of bitters so there’s some inconsistency there.

Lastly, our waiter A.E. seemed more interested in himself than being a server. The other servers were far more attentive to their guests than ours was. We had to flag him down thrice for beverage refills, and he rarely checked to see if everything was going well with our orders. I’d give it another shot if I lived near by, but as of right now I wasn’t too thrilled with our dining experience; it was just okay and if I’m being honest I wouldn’t come back.

We made a reservation for my partner’s birthday at the beginning of december for 12/26 @ 7pm. We arrived at 6:55pm and the waitress wasn’t very pleasant but let us know that our table was quite ready. we understood and knew it wouldn’t be so we sat at the bar and i ordered a drink. we then were not checked on again for the rest of the time we were that. all the wait staff was at the bar and someone was crying which is why we didn’t want to make a fuss. at 7:20 we decided that if we still were not sat or spoken to in the next five minutes, we would leave. at 7:25 i cashed out with my drink and someone finally asked us if we needed soemthing but we had decided to go somewhere else. We reached out to Coco to make sure we wouldn’t be charged or anything for being a no call no show when we were, in fact, there but never seated, and never heard anything back from them. usually never leave bad reviews like this but needed to be addressed

3.5 ⭐️ Came here for lunch on a whim. It was not very busy when I arrived. The food is very good and the restaurant also looks very nice. The service however is lacking - my food arrived quickly, but once I was finished eating, I left waiting a half hour just to get a small to go box and a check.

After searching numerous restaurants in the area looking for something specifically open on Thanksgiving I proceeded to make a reservation through their automated online reservation system well in advanced just received a voicemail message now saying they will be closed. I owned a restaurant you can’t leave your reservation system hoping to get enough tables to justify being open to just leave people dissatisfied and scrambling to make new plans hours before a holiday. Very disappointing business decisions.

Food was “meh” for all in our party, unfortunately. Steak frites - steak seemed like it had zero salt on it, “frites” were not frites, instead frozen fries with flour coating probably supplied by Sysco. Everyone in our party had similar reactions to their entrees - “meh”. Cocktails were watery - light on the alcohol, and light on flavor. Was an uninspiring birthday dinner for my brother. It’s been so hard to find thoughtfully and consistently executed food in Buffalo, and this is just another addition to the list of “meh”.

Buyer Beware! Check your receipt carefully! I brought a client here for lunch on 2/11/19. Paid with my company credit card. The itemized receipt was correct for $27.19, however they charged my credit card for $42.96. I did not realize till later that day, so called and explained to someone who said the owner would call me back. Called again next day, same routine. Not even so much as a return phone call. Its bad enough they charged me $16 more then they should have, but how about a return call? Don't trust their waitress to ring your bill up correctly. See attached receipts.
2/14/19 The owner did correct this after I brought it to her attention. Thank you!

I tried so hard to like this place. Had a unmemorable lunch, was told I had to try dinner. So I did. It was not great. I am vegan, and the chef was unwilling to make a minor change to make a PASTA dish vegan. The one token vegan dish was sold out. I reserved with VEGAN as special note. I will not come here again. They could have at LEAST offered to comp our drinks when it was apparent there was hardly anything for me to eat. No more chances. I'm mad.

Wife is out for birthday celebrations and happy hour with her friends and no one is picking up the phone?!?!?! How am I supposed to surprise them with a round and cake if I can't get ahold of anyone? Also should tell folks to leave a message and then not set up a voice mail box.

Couldn't tell you about the food. Made reservations for a birthday dinner. Got there on time, it was quite busy but there were open tables. There were also two musicians in the corner. The hostess said that the table we were assigned still had people at it and walked away. No ETA, no there's another table, nothing. She came back a few minutes later and sat us next to the two relatively loud musicians where no one was sitting for a reason. I asked my partner if they wanted to stay because it would be very hard to enjoy the meal in that area, which isn't fair for a birthday dinner. We decided to leave and the hostess said "yes he should enjoy his birthday." It felt very twilight zone and was very disappointing. I was excited for their food and wanted to have a lovely night there but now I don't think I would ever go back. I'm sure they don't care if they lose my business but I would hate for anyone else to have a special evening ruined by such service.
