The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I tried the chicken curry with porantha and it was very good. I’d say it was better than the dosa. The seating space is a little small and there’s only one chef so the service is a bit slow but I think it was definitely worth it!

I tried the Chicken Kothu, Chicken Biryani, Vada, and Masala Dosa — I loved everything except the sambar, which was a bit disappointing for me. The chutneys were really good, though! The place is a bit small, but the people are super friendly, and I loved the overall vibe. If you’re a fan of South Indian or Sri Lankan food, this is definitely the spot to check out.

We went to Colombo Spice for the first time today and it was fantastic. The place is a small hole in the wall but it is clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the service was so friendly. There seemed to only be one guy working, who was the server, the cook, and the cashier, but he was super-friendly and funny and really efficient. We had the Sri Lankan-style chicken curry, which was rich and delicious with a nice touch of spice, and the masala dosa, which was huge, perfectly cooked, and had the best dosa filling I've ever had. The flavor was subtle but delicious, complex, and absolutely craveable. We loved this place and will definitely be back!!
