A few years ago my wife and I went to CRāVing and absolutely loved it, a few days ago from writing this we went back and after gathering my thoughts I need to write this review. First of the drinks and fried dumplings were great and the sesame chicken was fantastic perfectly crispy, moist and tender, the shrimp fried rice and smore dessert are a drastically different story. The fried rice had a very pungent fish smell, like when you’re walking by a river and you smell something that’s been in the sun a little too long but not rotten yet. The texture was very mushy almost slimy and the taste while I hate to say this but it was absolutely disgusting, I was afraid if I kept eating it I would be sick at the restaurant it was that bad. I told the waitress that “I didn’t care for it” but I probably should have been honest thankfully they took the fried rice off the bill. We finally order the dessert since most of the food was great but when we took our first bite something tasted off, if I had to describe it it would be a mix of peanut butter and the fishy taste from the fried rice. I hate leaving negative reviews but when half the meal is great and the other half is nauseating and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and I really hope this was just an off day but I don’t know if we’ll be back.

Had a Friday night dinner at CRaVing on a very hot summer day - mid 80s.
The food was really great. We enjoyed a couple craft cocktails, like the Ranch Water, which were excellent.
We ordered appetizers including Caesar salad, fried dumplings, and charred peas. All were very flavorful and prepared well.
For entrees, we ordered pud Thai with tofu, drunken noodles, fettuccine, and fried rice. Everything was piping hot and very flavorful.
Our server was kind and attentive.
My only negative comments revolve around the dining atmosphere. We were the first patrons sat in the dining room and it was quite hot inside. There was no noticeable AC that we could feel. The front door was propped open but there was not much air flow. I’ll also note that the patio was “closed until further notice” so sitting outside was not an option. While we ate, there were several black flies that had undoubtedly flown in thru the propped open door and they would not leave us alone, as we were the only folks in the restaurant with meat and food. I didn’t see any kind of fly mitigation present, like a zapper or fly tape. So, I guess my feedback is - close the door and use the AC when it’s this hot outside, or circulate the air better with fans etc, and have some kind of fly mitigation in place. When you dine outside, totally get that bugs might happen and that’s not the restaurants’ fault. But when I dine inside, in the summer, I would expect a more comfortable temperature and a fly-free experience.
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options including adding fried tofu as a protein.
Dietary restrictions: Making small adjustments to dishes was not a problem.
Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant has tables that a wheelchair could be rolled up to in place of a chair.

Very small restaurant, but the food was amazing. Best burger I have ever had, there was some sauce on it that was the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff was so friendly. A spot everyone should check out

We had an awesome meal-- everything was so flavorful and fresh. I had sticky rice dish with marinated steak, my wife had the drunken noodles--both were exceptional. I hope more people come here and enjoy the carefully crafted dishes.

Used to be really good, but the food leaves a lot to be desired now. Also the bartender girl with the really long hair stole 50$ from me once.
Place was empty for early lunch/brunch. Great food, cool place.

Food was delicious. The talented chef was able to work with my allergies (I brought my allergy list). Pleasant atmosphere & good service. My recent visit to CRaVing was the 1st visit to a restaurant since the pandemic began. I'm glad I went there.
