I was so disappointed to see the interior of the Richardson since its changed ownership. The bar area is pathetically designed. There are several touches made to the outside and inside of the hotel that simply do not match the beauty of the building. Frankly, I can’t imagine this furniture or design elements would look good in any building but it’s even more saddening knowing that this should be a gem of Buffalo. The pasta chips were quite tasty but not enough to convince me to come back. Such a shame

Took a friend for birthday dinner. She had a fish fry, included pasta salad and potato chips, for $35. Nothing noteworthy but the price, this is Buffalo, price gouging. Bread basket for $11 had 4, 2x2 pieces of focaccia and two slices of bread from a very small baguette. Caesar salads were good but no anchovies! My pasta with eggplant tiny, tightly wrapped rolls was ok, eggplant mediocre. Sauce was good. Dessert was ok, not outstanding. Waiter was very professional. I would not go back, honestly Left Bank is my favorite.

Outstanding! Our service was attentive and friendly (Jason). Food was absolutely delicious-Bucatini de Pepe and Lobster Risotto. We took the cheesecake home for later. Highly recommend this restaurant-we’ll be back ?

Really wanted to like this bar but it has a few unnecessary shortcomings. The entire hotel is filled with tons and tons of space. Like more space than you can believe and it’s mostly empty or decorative. Yet they crammed a bunch of tables and a bar into the smallest room possible. It was only moderately busy and nearly impossible to move around in the bar area without hovering over people trying to eat at very large tables in such a cramped space. There is a room Next door that could suffice for large table seating. The bar area should have smaller high tops. The service was fairly slow too but not terrible. It’s a cool bar set up and very aesthetic, but just unnecessarily cramped.

Food was delicious and service with Michael and Martina was outstanding!Chicken Milanese and cacio y pepe were so good! You probably won't find a better server than Michael at any restaurant in Buffalo. The entrance is a little weird to find and no signage, but worth the scavenger hunt to find it.

My wife and I went for a dinner date on New Year’s weekend. The atmosphere was great and food excellent, but the real icing on the cake was the service from our server, Mike G. He took really good care of us and made our night special. Salmorillo and Tiramisu are to die for! 10/10 would recommend!
