Visited Buffalo on April 5th, 2024. My girlfriend and I wanted to stop at this highly suggested taco place called DA Taste.
The wait time is long. Which is understandable. BUT……they do not care that they have a worker chomping on gum in the kitchen and in FOH also. I addressed it with the blonde manager and she was like is that all. Did you get your food…enjoy. No I’m so sorry I’ll address it nothing. I love supporting small businesses but NOT one that doesn’t care about healthy sanitary guidelines.

Took an hour and a half for the order. They barely give you any queso for 9$. Trying to be TCB but coming up way short. Don’t recommend.

I tried D.A. Taste for the first time today and the service was exceptional! I ordered the honey garlic chicken taco and the steak in the grass. I looooved the honey garlic chicken tacos! I didn’t care for the steak in the grass, but they were nice enough to exchange it for another honey garlic chicken taco. Check them out! They were very friendly and welcoming!

If I could give zero stars, I would, let’s start there. My boyfriend and I dined in at this joke of a taco place. We placed our order and sat patiently, but unfortunately ended up waiting a whopping 39 minutes, just for our tacos, chips and queso to come out COLD. How are you going to serve me a COLD taco that’s supposed to come with MELTED CHEESE? The cheese was nowhere near melted. The meat was cold. The taco shells were as hard as rocks. Want my opinion? Go somewhere that serves AUTHENTIC Mexican tacos. Support your local Latino community. I’d rather have real, seasoned, WARM tacos than go to a place where the owner is too busy and would rather crack jokes and try to get a photo op with local food bloggers than serve her own damn customers. I’ve read the other bad reviews and I’ve read some of the owners snarky replies too. I get it’s a small business, but if your food was so good it would speak for itself, and baby, this food doesn’t speak, it’s mute.

So I've ordered at least every taco on their menu , the pretzels were soft and tasty but good Lord is that cheese sauce fire . The taco shells are made of corn , very creative tacos . My personal favs In order is the buffalo Bleu, jerk chicken ,chicken Parm, steak in grass , blackened lobster taco and lastly stinger . Id say check this place out at least once . They do put alot of care in the packaging and preparation of the tacos . All have a very lovely flavor , only minus one star for being a tad dry some of them are like the stinger taco. Overall it was a delight trying this place out.

I Can tell you with complete honesty that this is the worst place to support in Buffalo. They will make Delivery drivers wait 30+ minutes to pick up a small order. They will lie to you and say 3-5 minutes and then 15 minutes later you ask about it and they will lie again and say they are boxing it up. They have no respect for other people. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

Interior is amazing.Vibes amazing.Customer service amazing.The food junk I ordered what the owners proclaim as the best tacos in Buffalo were absolutely junk. The consommé was warm brown flavorless water and the chicken birria what a joke. Don’t get me started on the smoked queso what I as served was identical to Ricohs nacho cheese sauce. Just overhyped like most things in this city. I better not see another hashtag with wedabest or wewantthesmoke just junK. I’m waiting for a cocky response from the owner
Wow I’ve been waiting a long time to try this spot. I’ve seen so many good things about it but they were all lies! Honestly I was very disappointed. The beef birria was so dry & the dipping sauce just tasted like hot oil. The stinger taco was ok. The lobster was so fishy tasting. First time in my life I couldn’t finish 1 taco. The best part was the chips & queso.

Been intending to check out this place out for a while and finally got around to it yesterday for lunch.I tried their taco combo, which came with two tacos, a drink, and chips and queso. for my tacos I got the Nashville fried taco and the Stinger taco. Both were delicious and flavorful!I also got two additional tacos to try more of the traditional options, including the Birria taco and one called Dom’s taco. This were good as well, but definitely didn't hit as hard as the bold flavors of the other two.The chips were supposed to come with a smoked queso, but that was missing from my order and since this was a pick up, I didn’t realize it until I was home already. The chips themselves were fine though. Just used my own salsa with them.While the tacos were delicious, I can’t say that I love the idea of spending 6 to 8 dollars on a taco, but for an occasional indulgent, you won't go wrong here for some fun and tasty options.

Great tasting good and excellent use of seasoning. Inconsistent hours/specials/availability for delivery makes it challenging to know when items will be available during a time frame. Hopefully this improves as they grow into new location.
