Very good fish fry with soup and salad bar included for about 10 dollars. Probably best fish fry for the money in Buffalo. Very inexpensive lunch specials and a card that lets you get the 10th meal at a discount but not really free like they used to. Just changed my review. I went there last week and ordered two fish fry’s. My girl friend got hers broiled. It was a little bland so she asked for some seasoning. Both fish came out just warm and so were the mashed potatoes. We did not complain anyone can have a off day. I went to pay the bill at the bar. Some guys just ordered the mashed potatoes so I told the waitress to tell the cook ours were cold. She said “ You complained about the fish (we did not) you complained about the mashed potatoes. Why don’t you go home and fix your own meal next time.” Plus my girlfriend said the bathroom was filthy. I won’t go there again because I’m afraid she will spit on my food. Just want the owner to know you lost a 15 year customer. Get rid of Rochelle. Update I went back to try again. It’s supposed to be open again as the NEW Edge of town. It’s Friday after 12 and opens at 11:30. It was closed and their phone number has been disconnected. Fish fry on line was $18. Way to much for this sleazy neighborhood. The restaurant was clean and the service was EXCELLENT. The food was Delicious!!! I ordered the fish fry and so did my husband. It’s beer battered and had the perfect crispy texture on the outside and flaky goodness on the inside. I had french fries and macaroni salad my husband had coleslaw and potato salad. Everything was out of this world! Best Coleslaw ever! My daughter ordered the chicken wings (hot) and we all try one and they were superb! We then learned they have one dollar wings every Thursday so we’re definitely going back. My son ordered the chicken with french fries, mac & cheese, and a cornbread muffin. Everything was delicious!!!! There was no wait for a Friday evening. We are definitely going back.

So today was my 1st time comming in and was really excited to eat here but the guy taking order (tall bald ) completely skipped over me although I’ve been sitting with a menu waiting (he gave me menu) ignored me walked past 2 or 3 times so I end up leaving not able to try anything wouldn’t recommend very unprofessional I’d give 0 stars but you cant

I order the pepper steak and rice dinner on Grubhub and it was honestly disgusting like I actually had to leave a review just for others to not waste their money and for the restaurant to improve immediately!! The yams were wayyy yo sweet like candy sweet and had a bad taste, the Mac and cheese tasted more like American cheese and noodles and the pepper steak and rice was sweet and I’m used to tasting a spicy flavor. Overall I give it a 3/10 please change the recipe !!

I've been eating year for years the staff is awesome long with the food they serve they have a salad with that comes with your dinner and homemade soup ...the burgers are homemade and I have never been disappointed and if you feel like ordering and taking it to go you can surely do that .
