Looking for something quick for lunch today and tried El Coquito. I was unsure if it was Puerto Rican Food or if it was a coffee house but nonetheless. I ordered 2 Chicken Pastelillo, sweet plantain, and a mango smoothie. I was taken aback because it was a very long wait and there was only 3 others ahead of me who were together. I finally got my smoothie and it was delicious, and I enjoyed it, the plantain was fine too, nothing special, I wish it would’ve been served with something...
This is the first time eating at this restaurant and my overall experience was average! I ordered roaster pork and I was informed that they didn't have anymore! So, I ordered beef steak with onions with rice and beans! Ipon receiving my meal, the meal was barely warm! The rice and beans were warm! This place has no Alcohol or Malta Indian! The decor was average! The meal was tasty, but it needs to be hot and not warm at best!
I just had a great experience at El Coquito, I felt comfortable sitting upstairs. The waitress went above and beyond, frequently navigating the stairs without a single complaint, even though there were only a few patrons inside. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere had a wonderful vibe that made the visit enjoyable. Highly recommend! Spaced Out Podcast Approved @spacedout_podcast
