When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. When we got our food, there were two other groups. It took 57 minutes for our food to arrive. The non-fried food (fish, stuffed plantain) was amazing. The fried food was inedible.
Everything was flavored just right. Tried their rice and peas with pastelon (sweet plantain with shredded chicken and cheese on top. It was very yummy. Also had pasteles (shredded green banana base with pork in the middle wrapped in a banana leaf and boiled) usually done around the holidays 😋. Definitely go back when in the area.
I love the red rice and salad. My kids always love the steak and rice. Well, I think everything on the menu we've eaten and can easily give them all a 10.
