Sort of grungy, but ultimately friendly local pub with pool and some booths. Occasional live music, too.

Came in on Monday night with my wife. Ordered a double captain & diet. Watched the bartender pour a single and charge us for a double in an empty bar. What he did was ring it up as a single to make an extra $4 in cash (how I paid) to pocket the difference.I called him out on it and he started pacing back and forth behind the bar like a caged animal. The owner needs to fire this employee. He is skimming off the bar and making the customers pay.I gave him a $10 for an $8 drink assuming he gets a $2 tip. He comes back 2 mins later apologizing for not giving me change. I dont care about $2. What I care is that I watched you pour and then lie to me about what you poured, and then took the extra step to try and play it off like you werent already assuming you were keeping the $2 difference on what I tendered on a slow night. Will never come back to this bar again. Plenty of other options in the city.

Best dive bar in Buffalo been a bit since last time I was there but will be back soon 4 mini pitchers of pbr and shots of Kessler
I was robbed by someone named Matt he fraudulently penciled in I gave him a $200 tip.
This was my husband's and my first visit. Don't judge the inside by the outside!! We were pleasantly surprised by the cheery, clean, bright, cooly decorated inside. Patti the bartender was a delight! She is funny, witty, and on top of her game. Also a nice mix of customers. Be aware there is no food served. The atmosphere and drinks will fill you up! Will be returning.
If yiu're a fan of a classic dive bar, this is your spot. Simply put.For me personally, it hit a soft spot in my heart as I both performed there musically over the years and served my food there.Plus you have Mohawk Place right next door.
Awesome little spot, right next to Mohawk place which is convenient before a show. It has a decidedly 80's kinda look; pinball, pool, darts.
