The last time I was there the OWNER was very rude. She kept stating they don’t take cash app during my check out. I told her I wasn’t using cash app and I don’t even have a cash app card. She continued to talk over the very nice cashier who was assisting me. I’m not sure why she kept stating they didn’t take cash app even though there are hand made signs stating just that all over the place. The experience was very off putting and I haven’t been back since.
Accessibility is not the greatest. The font for the menu isn't suited for legibility, which is exacerbated by the dim lighting. There's a divot in the floor that's covered up by a rug that I tripped over, as there's no warning that states it's there.

The food isn't the only wonderful thing about this place. They're a neighborhood hub and community gathering place with an emphasis on poetry and other creative expression. They've been around since 2000.
