This place is a one of a kind gem, and it is hands down one of the best places to get food in Buffalo. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the sweet thai chili udon with shrimp is my favorite so far. Generous portions of unique, top tier food.
Chef/owner Lamont does an outstanding job executing his diverse menu, and brings a breath of fresh air I would love to see more of in Buffalo. Honestly my enthusiasm may come off as paid, it may even come off as too good to be true, but I genuinely believe this man is cooking on another level. And running it all by himself too, literally a one man army. I cannot praise this place enough, it is criminally underrated.
If there are 0 Far East Bayou enjoyers, then I'm dead.

I went to Far East Bayou and got the Fried Shrimp Po’Boy — it was absolutely delicious. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I devolved to a primal state while devouring it; I even licked the container clean when I was done (which was not one of my finer moments) which really speaks to the quality of the meal

Food was absolutely delicious. My wife and I order different dishes. Maple Cajun Salmon and grits were amazing. Salmon was cooked perfectly, the grits were a great pairly with the savory and sweet mix. My wife ordered the Cajun Chicken Cheesesteak, she ate it up and left nothing behind. Food was simply amazing. If you are looking for a sign to try their food, here it is.

My partner and I moved to Buffalo recently and this place has quickly become our favorite! We share the vegetarian sweet potato po' boy and the gochujang garlic noodles. The po' boy is seriously amazing, and that lemon aioli on there will get your mouth watering. The noodles are the perfect level of spice and heat, and the best part is the variety of vegetables. We're not the biggest fans of zucchini but it's always perfectly cooked and never slimy. Together the dishes round each other out really well. Chef Lamont is very friendly when you come to pick up your food. You can tell he's very passionate about his business, and it's obvious he has put a lot of effort into his recipes. We've come back multiple times and we can't get enough. I guarantee you will not be disappointed eating here!
