Food was absolutely delicious. My wife and I order different dishes. Maple Cajun Salmon and grits were amazing. Salmon was cooked perfectly, the grits were a great pairly with the savory and sweet mix. My wife ordered the Cajun Chicken Cheesesteak, she ate it up and left nothing behind. Food was simply amazing. If you are looking for a sign to try their food, here it is.

My partner and I moved to Buffalo recently and this place has quickly become our favorite! We share the vegetarian sweet potato po' boy and the gochujang garlic noodles. The po' boy is seriously amazing, and that lemon aioli on there will get your mouth watering. The noodles are the perfect level of spice and heat, and the best part is the variety of vegetables. We're not the biggest fans of zucchini but it's always perfectly cooked and never slimy. Together the dishes round each other out really well. Chef Lamont is very friendly when you come to pick up your food. You can tell he's very passionate about his business, and it's obvious he has put a lot of effort into his recipes. We've come back multiple times and we can't get enough. I guarantee you will not be disappointed eating here!

Absurdly good. I haven't been able to stop talking about it for days now, easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. The chef clearly is passionate about food and this is exactly the kind of place that adds new excitement to the Buffalo food scene. The addition of spinach and provolone held it all together while maximizing flavor. The dipping sauce was also delicious.I tried the Chipotle Sweet Potato Bisque. It had the perfect amount of sweetness that turned into a nice spice. At first you taste the sweet potatoes, and then it fades into a fantastic chipotle flavor with a little heat.The Kimchi is the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, but not too hot.The garlic noodles are the spiciest (hottest) item on the menu I’ve tried, but the flavors are so good, they’re hard to stop eating. The vegetables that were mixed in had immense fresh flavor and an incredible crunch.I also gave the Cajun Chicken Cheesesteak a try. After the first bite I was ready to order another one. The entire sandwich just melts in your mouth. Amazing flavors, super good sauce, even the roll it was on was worth noting.I’m definitely going back ASAP. The staff were extremely friendly and the overall quality and freshness of each dish were top notch.I am looking forward to visiting again to try the rest of the menu…. And another cheesesteak…

I have been coming to far east bayou for the past couple years and no matter what dish I try I am treated with a delicious meal! I tried the Cajun chicken cheesesteak and creole seafood egg rolls two weeks ago and both were absolutely delicious! The cheesesteak was tasty and hearty. The creole egg rolls were good as well as I really enjoyed the lobster and the creole dipping sauce goes so well on everything! Anybody reading this should definitely try out Far East Bayou if you haven’t already; you will not be disappointed!

The Maple Cajun Shrimp & Grits is arguably the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. The grits are so smooth, creamy, and cheesy. I love a good egg roll and the Creole Seafood Egg Rolls did not disappoint. They are huge and packed with so much flavor and that creole sauce is perfect. Every time I order, the food is always hot, fresh, and good! Highly recommended!

We recently ordered the bisque (Cochujang Roasted Tomato and Chipotle Sweet Potato)… they were so tasty - had just the right amount of spice and they were both dairy free!
