The fanciest cafe on the West side of Buffalo with the following reasons:1. The space for your work and your loved ones carefully designed with indoor plants, chairs and tables;2.Affordable price for delicious cafe and pie;3. Super friendly staff.I highly recommend it.
Best coffee shop I've been to in Buff so far. It's a very comfortable and cozy spot, great for a sit down and chill or an easy-going study session. There are about 5 tables and a good number of seats available. The coffee is fantastic. I got the taro latte and bruleed mocha late. Both drinks were balanced and fragrant. I'm most impressed by the execution on the taro latte. I will be coming back.
This place is fully authentic with its mission - providing a chill, unpretentious, environment and extremely fair priced (I’d even call it cheap in this economy) coffee and desserts, I LOVED my first visit here, and will definitely be a return customer. On top of this, the coffee was truly AMAZING. I can’t say I’ve had better coffee in buffalo yet (though I’ve only been here 8 months). The taro latte is a must try - the barista warned it would be sweet but it was just the perfect sweetness and flavor. Will say the coffee is strong, though!! Can be a good thing for frequent coffee drinks but I personally had the gitters a couple hours after LOL
This has been my designated study spot during the semester and for good reason! The coffee is absolutely amazing, their seasonal drinks are to die for. Sadie runs a great business that I can’t recommend enough!!
I love pie so this is really a great place for me. Savory pie main course and sweet pie for desert, what could be better! The staff is incredibly friendly. We have bonded over pie and locally grown fruit.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan pies are essential to the menu.
Kid-friendliness: Sadie and her staff are just plain friendly. The indoor space has tables close together. More energetic kids might prefer the outdoor seating and a fair weather visit.
Parking: Street parking is usually available within 100 feet of the entrance.
Do not walk--RUN--to Foibles. The vibes are immaculate. Sadie's signature drinks are SO good. The original home of the taro latte AND Buffalo's first sweet potato latte. But seriously all of them are so good. Also the best decaf in town. The pies are so wonderful (blueberry lemon is my personal fave) and almost all options are allergen-free and vegan! But don't get it twisted, that takes nothing away from the flavors and textures. I'll never buy a pie anywhere else, for sure, but I also cannot emphasize how good the beverages are here!
Vegetarian options: vegan and vegetarian options
Kid-friendliness: really nice indoor and outdoor space
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, nut free, vegan options
A small unique coffee & pie shop, definitely not cookie-cutter; but they do cut pies, or you can order them whole. Made from scratch with carefully designed recipes, they are spectacular and wholesome. Owner & attendants are super genuine.
Vegetarian options: Always vegan options. Top notch ingredients.
Found this gem while visiting from out of town. The owner is so friendly and inviting and took time to talk us through the drink specials and the different options that we could have that were vegan. The pies and drinks were amazing- we will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
I love foibles pies and their supper club. I don't know if they are still doing the supper club but it was so delicious that I hope they do it again soon. Highly recommend with the nicest staff.
What a great place! Friendly, welcoming staff, delicious coffee, and a wonderful, relaxed vibe.

West side gem! I am officially addicted to the baked goods! There are usually two pie flavors available by the slice, along with other rotating specials. The coffee is delicious! This is a very small and quiet shop. There is outdoor seating available as well!
Sadie Mathers has a great thing going, charming and comfortable - don't miss the iced cold brew with chocolate oat milk and the vegan coconut cream pie!
I am giving 3 stars only. I had a coffee latte and I tastes too sour and not hot enough. The good thing of this place is the smile and friendly attitude of the lady working there.
Adorable funky little pie place with the best owner/operator greeting, serving, baking and making it all happen with friendly quiet grace. Delicious, creative rotation of both savory and sweet pies.
Pie ???So GOOD. Strawberry Rhubarb: just right, not too sweet, flavorful, delicious crust ! I brought it to a Pie Maker, a “better” judge- she loved it! Brava! More, please. Owner is the chef/barista/ chief cook and bottle washer, DELIGHTFUL , friendly, funny. The space is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, comfortable, cozy- I look forward to bringing friends and family here. Ample outdoor seating.
