We were visiting from Canada. We decided to check out this restaurant and the food was phenomenal. The chicken wings were just perfect, and crispy. I highly recommend their dry rub wings it was so delicious. Never had anything this good! Highly recommend!

They made buffalo chicken dip, arguably one of the greatest creations of mankind. My dream is to make a time machine to personally give the maker of this wonder of the world a hug. Very few people have had only entirely positive impacts on the world like they have. This slice of heaven deserves a Nobel Prize for it's undeniable greatness.

On 9/92024 at 12:19 PM we placed a Pickup Order of boneless wings and a White Pizza and was told to be ready within 20 min (Promise Time: 12:38 PM printed on the receipt). The order was not ready until 1:08 PM although we asked a few times and even wanted to see the manager. Two restaurant employees told us the manager would see us. So we waited another 10 minutes after we got the order, but this manager did not show up. So I wrote my cell number to one employee and left. We have never experienced such poor restaurant services and believe the manager is the cause. On that day morning, one hotel staff told us Anchor Bar's wings don't taste good and we confirmed he was correct.

It had a perfect atmosphere. The food is delicious. I especially recommend Traditional Buffalo Wings.

Home of the original Buffalo wing, this decent size restaurant embraces their own sauces and mastery of wings. This is a franchised business however this location is the original. The wings were excellent, cooked made to order and came out crispy and drenched in sauce. We chose the medium or the original sauce that was created for the buffalo wings. It did have a bit of a kick but nothing out of the ordinary. It brought out the flavor of the chicken wings as well as adding that little extra. As an appetizer we ordered the pizza logs which are egg rolls with mozzarella and pepperoni that come with a marinara dipping sauce. Quite tasty and had a wonderful cheese pull. The spicy Hot Chicken Wing Soup is nothing short of its name. It's a chicken wing in soup form which pieces of the chicken throughout. Definitely a spot to check out if you're ever in Buffalo NY. They also sell their sauces throughout the restaurant and in the airport as well so you can enjoy it wherever your travels take you.

The chicken wings in this place are awesome with the signature sauce and they are known for their famous buffalo wings. The service is awesome and the atmosphere can be noisy when there is a lot of people watching sports or having a meal.

The place itself is very atmospheric, impressive, very interesting decor, and the service is also ok. We ordered traditional spicy wings with barbecue sauce... it was a disaster, it was impossible to eat them, tasteless, strange and not very pleasant taste, only the ones in barbecue were edible. In general, we do not recommend the food.

Get there early!
Wife and I got there with an hour to spare before they're closing time . On Google it says they close at 10 PM on Sundays and Saturdays.
We walked in people were in the place sitting at the bar and at tables, We were told that their kitchen was already closed and they would not be servng anyone else. When we said we still have an hour. They said come back tomorrow. But as we had driven from across the state on the way to Ohio. That was not possible.
They serve hot wings, whats they're turn around time there? 15 mins. What could have been a fun experience, turned into a nothing situation.

As a local who has eaten at hundreds of wings places in WNY, I can say these wings ( and pizza )are not good ...we ordered medium hot wings(extra crispy) and the wings had no heat at all and were soggy. The pizza we ordered was also terrible. The place was not busy since it was mid-afternoon.. I haven't been here in about 10 years and I remember that was a bad experience as well, but I thought I'd give them another chance. With all the great wing places in WNY ( Bar Bills in EA, 9-11, Elmos, Mulberry's, and the vast majority of local pizza restaurants around WNY) this place shouldn't be on anyone's radar for wings .. my advice .. get some new cooks or better train the ones you have...the wings might have been invented here, but it's been over 20 years since they've properly prepared Buffalo wings ..

Cool atmosphere.

Terrible food. The wings were overly sauced and extremely soggy. It's obvious they sauce them with cold or room temperature sauce. The sauce itself is fine. The bottled stuff is a great souvenir.

There are so so so many places in Buffalo to get better wings. They claim to be the original but they're far from the best.

If you're from out of town, looking to try the best wing, go to Duffs or Bar Bill or any small tavern really.

First of all, the food was very good, amazing taste!

Second of all, services are really bad - we got passed for water refill twice, waited st least 15 mins at our table with no one bring anything, I been in all the north states from Canada, this is the first time I feel being yellow colored people got looked down on.

Third of all, I love all the plates on the wall and all the classic bikes.

Am I going back? Answer will be no, no one will exchange good food with low and poor services - just not a fit and not happening. If the owners saw the post, I would recommend your company provide some additional training to your server.
