Wings were great. Limited flavors at the airport location. The service was really good.

The original place to have Buffalo wings . Don't ever get it twisted. Nothing is better. There are good wings out there but nothing compares to Anchor Bars wings

Had the Garlic Parm traditional (10pc) wings. Nice size, lots of meat. The bar / restraunt itself has character, with lots of memorabilia on its walls. Service was good, no complaints and ya have the bragging rights for dining at the original birthplace of the buffalo wing.

The Buffalo wing OG! The wings were excellent, and the beef on weck was delicious as well. Try it!

*change to mozzarella sticks and potato skins weren't correctly done right. I unfortunately can't edit review so instead of removing I'm just updating

We had to try the place that started the buffalo chicken wings and it did NOT disappoint! The decor was fun and neat to look at. The wings were amazing! I recommend the honey bourbon bbq or the chipotle bbq. Very good!

The chicken wings was delicious with the signature sauce. The garlic was good and the chicken wings really crispy. I ordered potatoes with honey, really tasty and craving it after back home. The interior inside really lovely and cool. Gonna be back here.

We were looking forward to trying the original Buffalo wings but unfortunately when we arrived, the restaurant had a "Closed" sign, even though we were there more than an hour before the closing time. There was an older couple who also just arrived and they were so disappointed since they were traveling from California. There were still customers inside and a manager lady finally came out and told us that they were closed for the evening. We told her that the business hours on their website as well as Google map and Yelp stated that they were still open. She said she had no control over that. She could at least put a handwritten sign on the door explaining why they were closed earlier. The older couple asked if they could get some to go since they were returning to California next day but the manager said the fryer was already turned off. As we were leaving, another party was arriving to the restaurant. It was definitely a disappointing experience. We ended up going over to Gabriel's Gate and their wings were great!

The wings, of course, are great. I enjoyed the overall fun vibe! I would go on a weeknight. Weekends seem packed to the gills.

The Buffalo-style chicken wing has a flavorful history that dates back to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, in 1964. The credit for creating this iconic dish goes to Teressa Bellissimo, who, as the story goes, improvised a late-night snack for her son and his friends. Legend has it that Teressa deep-fried some chicken wings, which were usually used for making stock, and tossed them in a sauce made from a combination of hot sauce and melted butter. She served these crispy and saucy wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, creating the Buffalo wing we know and love today. The popularity of Buffalo wings soared after their introduction at the Anchor Bar. As the reputation of this delectable dish spread, other restaurants in Buffalo and beyond started serving their versions of Buffalo-style chicken wings, contributing to its status as a staple in American pub and bar menus. Over the years, the Buffalo wing has become a symbol of communal dining, sports events, and social gatherings. The variations in sauces, ranging from mild to extremely spicy, have allowed this dish to cater to a wide range of taste preferences. Today, Buffalo-style chicken wings are enjoyed globally, and they have become a ubiquitous part of American cuisine. The Anchor Bar itself has become a landmark, and its legacy lives on through the continued popularity of this spicy and savory treat.

We ordered a bucket of 3 different flavors - they were So good, meaty and the sauces were delicious! Like that they come in a pizza box, with dipping sauce and plenty of celery. Thinking back to the original location and story behind the wings from 1964, here it is almost 2024 and they are still the best!

I wouldn't even give it 1 star but I had no choice. My husband and I travel all over the East coast for work so we eat out all the time. This was hands down the worst experience we've ever had. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN YOU WILL EAT IT, otherwise you're stuck with it and will still have to pay for it. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich that didn't have what it was supposed to but I took a bite and I didn't like it so I asked for it to be removed from my bill which they refused. The server asked why, I said I didn't like it and she said that wasn't a good enough reason and refused to remove it from our bill. We asked to speak to the manager and was told the same thing; they didn't take food back. REALLY??! I wish I would've lied and said there was a hair or something but I didn't because I thought it would be taken care of. The manager's only response was to remove a drink from our bill that was nowhere near the cost of the crappy sandwich. So neither the server nor the manager cared at all about us or the fact we were unhappy. Of note, it also took 20 minutes to even be approached in the first place just to get our drink order, that didn't include food. It took even longer for the server to come back for our food order and then that took forever as well. Once the server finally came back after we got our order and I complained, my husband also asked for additional sauce for their wings, another round of drinks for our friends, and sparkling water but we never got that. I have never been refused to send a dish back and then forced to pay for it!! I wish I would've taken a picture of what I was served as it was pathetic. Save yourself the time and hassle. And the ambiance sucks.

Best Buffalo wings ever! I'm not a local, so it was a real treat to visit the home of the original Buffalo wing. I think I have been making them wrong all along. I loved the food and the experience.
