Had the tiramasu. Interesting, but not really a tiramasu. Top half just cream and sponge, had to get to the bottom for the coffee. It's in a glass which is also odd, would have preferred just a nice old fashioned TM. House beer was nice.

Took a date to the museum and we were both hungry. It was perfect timing that my daughter called me and asked her advice for a good place to eat. She recommended Frankie Primo's and I'm so glad she did because this restaurant did not disappoint.
Our server was amazing, her food and drink recommendations were spot on for the occasion. From the strawberry mojitos, the arancini appetizer, to the pizza were all to delicious perfection.
Thank you to my daughter and Frankie Primo's for the perfect end to a great date experience. I will definitely be back again for a mojito and have some delicious authentic Italian food.

Always a favorite of mine but was able to come in at a late night hour and Emily fired me two pizzas without hesitation. Bar was top notch as always. Doesn’t take a lot to bring me back here but takes a lot for a review. 10/10

Service was great! Food was terrible! I was so excited to try the ricotta gnocchi which I can’t find anywhere. The sauce was terrible. Terrible. Ordered the pasta fagioli and it was probably the worst soup I have ever had. Strange recipe with eggs in it. Just wasn’t flavorful at all. My wife ordered a shrimp scampi and it had no flavor to it either. Even the bread was not that good. We ended up not eating any of it really after the first couple of bits. We are from Buffalo but moved to Phoenix and come back often to visit family. We stayed downtown this time and thought we would try this restaurant since we have never been there. Of all the places to eat in Buffalo and the great food in Buffalo which we miss the most, we should have picked anywhere but here. I will say the service was great and tried to make it right when she saw we didn’t eat any of our food. The manager was also great and made us a to go entry that she thought would be different so they were great although she ended up charging me the same as my original meal so would have never agreed to accept the substitute to go meal. I see all these reviews of great food and I think, there has to one honest review. It simply is not that great and with so many other great places to go on Buffalo, I’m not sure why anyone would come here. Do not recommend at all.

Was there for a retirement party.
Staff was quick and always there to assist.

We visited this establishment over the weekend, there were six of us. Taylor was our server, there was another woman helping her that I didn't get her name...both of them provided us with fantastic service! The food was great, the service was great. We will definitely return for more visits in the future!

Service was exceptional! But the food, the food was out of this world delicious. Portions were enough to be full and take home to have a late night snack. Restaurant was very clean and inviting, perfect for a date night or girls night out!

DO NOT RECOMMEND — TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !

Walked in around 8pm and was immediately met with a rude, aggressive, and unwelcoming attitude from the bartender/server (not even sure what his role was). I was waiting a moment for my partner to arrive before ordering, and instead of basic courtesy, I was told to order immediately or leave because the TV was “for paying customers.”

Completely unacceptable. That kind of behavior is hostile, unprofessional, and not how you treat anyone—especially someone visiting from out of town on business.

I took my money across the street to Bada Bing, where the environment was far more welcoming, respectful, and family-friendly. Night and day difference.

This experience left a terrible impression and I would strongly warn others to think twice before coming here. Customer service clearly isn’t a priority, and no one should be spoken to that way.

Management seriously needs to fix this. You’re losing customers.

I went to the restaurant on December 14 after a show at the 710 Theater. There were 8 of us . The server was very accommodating, especially with my grandchildren. But some of us were disappointed in the food. First of all the bread was not fresh, even the children would not eat it, I ordered the Tagliatelle DeFunghi and the first few bites were good but then the noodles were all stuck together and no sauce in the center, my daughter did not think that there was enough sauce on her gnocchi and my daughter-in-law's pizza crust was hard. This was very disheartening especially since the cost was pricey.

I wanted to like this place but highly disappointed. Great vibrant atmosphere, but it ended there, maybe it was an off night in the kitchen but the Cacio e Pepe was a cheesy clumpy mess- the chef needs to re learn how to make this tricky sauce to stop the cheese proteins from clumping.

The tiramisu was even more disappointing; served in a jar, it mostly tasted like whip cream and stale sponge cake with hersheys chocolate sauce poured on top. If thats your reinvention of tiramisu, please, just take it off the menu.

The next time I'm in Buffalo, I will give it another try because I definitely love the atmosphere but I get the Feeling the popularity of this place is resting on a older reputation.

Ordered food to go. Ordered the Gastronomia Panini and the Fettucine White Sauce w/Chicken ($34!!). The panini was okay.... essentially cold cuts of salami (Not Prosciutto as advertised). The fettucine was bland without any flavors... Total of $64 on bland food... Would not recommend.

The service, even though short, was pleasant.
