Gino's NY Pizzeria Elmwood

I called and she acted like she couldn't hear then hung up on me horrible I will never get food from there again smh

I had hoped to really love this pie. I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni, added extra pepperoni, and made it a combo with wings. I went all-in. Unfortunately, the pizza was tough-chewy-doughy. I lived in NYC and Long Island. The style here did not compare. *sigh*. I'm local, but it would take something special for me to try Gino's again.

This was not good pizza at all. The only thing I appreciated was the warmth of the slice and that was it.

Pizza was super authentic watched as the guy tossed the dough in the air cheese was real as well as the ingredients nothing but top notch beats out la nova any day hands down

I was doing errands downtown in the morning and I took one bite of the old American prepared food and it was sent to the trash can. If I don’t pick out the pig essence, I can’t make it. I don’t know how the people of Buffalo can survive. I went to do errands nearby in the afternoon and couldn’t find anything to eat. After walking for a long time, I finally found a restaurant where you can eat. I have never commented on this restaurant once. Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people because they can eat!

I'm not really a NYC pizza girlie but this place has some bomb slices. Conveniently located to walk in off Elmwood.

Ordered delivery. Zeppole was undercooked and had no powdered suger. It was like chewing gum. The rest of the food was decent.

Just moved in from Brooklyn. I'm also a pizza chef, worked in 2 busy pizza shops before moving to Buffalo, and was highly impressed by this pizzeria.

Guys, this could compete with any of the best pizza shops in NYC any day of the week. I worked in a few of those, and I tell you, most of them have nothing on Gino's.

Enjoying a classic pepperoni while doing the unpacking of the many boxes after the move. Nothing like pizza after a move.
