Thank you so much for the chicken curry and the kaacha moreech. My mom is far away and I’ve been missing true Bangladeshi home cooking — and your food made me feel at home again. As soon as I opened the takeout container, my husband recognized the aroma and said, “It smells like home.” They cook so authentically that it can take up to half an hour for the preparation if they aren’t too busy, but believe me, IT IS WORTH IT. My favorite thing about this place is that the food is served HOT and packed with flavor!! 🥵 We got the beef curry, chicken fried rice, and french fries. Beef tendons were simmered till they were fall apart tender. The rice was light and fluffy. The portions were generous and the service was very friendly. I’m really glad I tried Halal Kabab house for lunch today, the food took a while to arrive (20+ minutes) but it was well worth the wait and I will definitely be back.

I drive by this place every day and randomly decided to order from here; it was a great decision! We chicken over rice, a chicken roll, shingara, and doi fuchka. We had to wait a bit for the order and while we were there, we were asked if we’ve ever had the doi fuchka, which we said no. Not only did they tell us how to eat it but they assembled one for me and insisted I ate it while I was there. It was great! Such a good blend of flavors and it tasted so fresh!
