Server was nowhere to be found most of the time. Only one man performing but it was so loud I could barely hear people at my table.

Couldn't ask for a better tasting beer battered fish. Plus , their beer is the best. I absolutely love it.

Mother's Day Brunch was disappointing. We arrived 20 minutes early to ensure we were on time, only to wait 20 another twenty minutes after our reservation time. They were understaffed for the event. They failed to replenish parts of the menu the last half hour before it was closed. Again, we were early and were penalized. We have spent thousands of dollars within the past year bringing our family and friends together for a nice dinner/experience. Today, the restaurant failed us. Completely disappointed and won't be back for another event. I'd go anywhere else before going back here for an event. Totally, overpriced and underwhelming experience

Let me start by saying we love Hofbrauhaus and find it to be a great restaurant to take our kids to. We went to Mother's Day brunch yesterday and were disappointed. We went to their brunch for Mother's Day last year and it was amazing! I had been looking forward to it all year long. Well our dining experience started with a wait (10-15min) for a table even though I had already made reservations earlier in the week. While the food was pretty good, it was a bit disappointing compared to last year. There were so many more options last year. Finally, the cost for each of our children's meals was insane! Last year they didn't cost anything and this year each of their meals cost $28!! They are 2 and 5 years old! And when we usually go there to eat, the kids plates are $5 each! Unfortunately, we will not return next year. Oh! And although we only had a party of 4 (2 adults 2 children) a 20% gratuity was already added to our bill!

Excellent food and service. It's can get loud, but I have kids with me usually, so that works well.

There was a wonderful German band playing the night we attended, and we had a great time! Would highly recommend going!

Food was delicious and beer was excellent. Lindsey, our server, was very attentive and did a great job. The Bergholz Band put on a great show. Always a great time at Hofbräuhaus. Thank you!

The salmon was cooked to perfection with a tasty vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. The house cab sav was smooth and enjoyable. The beer is all brewed in-house to strixt Geeman standards, and it's delicious. My favorite is the lager. Tablw service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

The good reviews are probably from people being drunk or tipsy then whatever they eat tastes good. I was so excited for the food but everything is at best mediocre, not a single dish is considered outstanding compared to other German restaurants in nyc, CT, MA or Toronto. Red cabbage is extremely sweet and tastes more like cranberry sauce. Sausages and pretzels are very dry, can tell they have been sitting there for a long while. Goulash meat is dry and bland. March beer tastes like sugar water. And I could go on for every single dish.

This place is a real experience! The service is fast and friendly. The food is amazing. Every day is a party in here. Every time I've been here there has been live music, usually traditional German. The beer is always delicious. You can't have a bad time here!

Parking: Usually $5 to $10 to park, depending on if there's an event in Buffalo that night.

last place id recommend. security is full of themselves. got kicked out for going to the bar for 30 minutes and coming back and then standing on the stool that 90% of the place was on. absolute loser security who also don’t even agree with eachother. don’t go here if you plan to have fun.

We had a reservation for a table of 4 at 7:45 on Saturday (Country Night). We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated – which would be fine had we not had a reservation, but as this is the sole purpose of reservations, it wasn’t acceptable. If you cannot accommodate tables/resos due to a busy event, you need to block off those time slots on OpenTable and accept walk-ins only. It was evident other guests were upset as well. We were also made to pay a $15.00 cover charge per person – which would have been fine if we were not dining there. I’m all for charity and for individuals coming in to stand, drink, and listen to music, that charge is valid, but to charge that to customers who are consuming/paying for full mains for dinner, is quite frankly ridiculous. I asked a table next to us if they paid cover and they told us no. When I asked to speak the manager about the charge, the managers confirmed that “cover is charged after a certain hour, even for guests who are dining”. This was clearly a blatant lie as we arrived at 7:45PM and the event started at 7:00PM. When did this charge “come into effect” then? After 30 mins of being open? Please be honest to your customers. They also charged $6.00 to ride the mechanical bull – which is so silly when people are paying a cover charge AND the bull is powered on wasting energy regardless (when no one is riding it).

I love the atmosphere at the Hofbrauhaus locations, but the food at this location was so disappointing. The mac and cheese (if you can call it that) was not edible – had to send it back to the kitchen, and I guess they changed their fries from last year (visited once, and they were good). The new orange fries served taste cheap and horrible. The one good thing I can say about our experience was our server. She had only been working there for 4 days and did a great job. She was super sweet and attentive.
