Every single time. Every time! We have the best food, best service, best experience. It is the perfect escape for lunch and dinner. You can tell I’m obsessed. The pineapple habanero, the quesadillas, THE FISH TACO! And duh, margs, top shelf, top experience, Grace Anne is my FAVORITE part. I can’t say enough about this place. If you need to ask, don’t- just go.

First time and I'm shocked I haven't been sooner. The place is small and quaint but I love it. I can definitely see it getting packed in the summer there is an outdoor patio. Everything we ate was amazing. Warning if you like hot the pineapple habanero salsa is legit! Very hot! We also got plantains which were my favorite I totally can eat them all the time.I ordered the buffalo chicken, fish and bbq tacos. You can upgrade and get a side of rice and beans which my husband did cause he's obsessed with rice. Everything was amazing nothing disappointed. They don't have "servers" but if you eat at the bar you'll get the best service ever. We were looking for a great taco place since Cantina closed and I'm happy to say this is it!!!

We went to Hombre y Lobo for happy hour to check it out. It is a bright, trendy space. The service staff was pleasant and accommodating. It is not a very sizeable space, however you can make reservations online for the bar, one of the small four person tables, or the to shared community table. There is seasonal, covered outdoor space and a "lounge" as well comprising itself of a couple small couches.We only had appetizers and they were good. The beer selection was appropriate for the restaurants theme, with a heavier selection of beers that would pairs nicely with their food options. Many other liquid refreshments too, including some specialty drinks.Parking isn't ideal, as there are limited on street parking spaces. there are pay surface lots as well. On nights with events at the stadium it will see increased traffic. Give Hombre y Lobo a try!
First visit was for the FREE Saturday Drag Brunch with Vanna Deux and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were DELICIOUS, the atmosphere was so fun and refreshing, the staff and owners were fun and welcoming. ? WNY needs more LGBTQAI+ healthy environments like this!Oh and the drag queens were hilarious, iconic and stunning. Can't wait until the next brunch!

Chips & Tomatillo salsa Good flavor, the green tomato comes through well. A mild spice to it. Love the homemade tortilla chips.The taco sizes differ depending if they're corn or flour tortillas. The flour are maybe a 6" shell, and the corn are maybe 3-4"Baja Fish 9/10Super soft fish, Crispy on the outside. Couldn't taste the crema very much. I think I'd rather have regular cabbage over purple cabbage too.Buffalo Chicken 10/10Idk if they use a chicken tender or hand bread it, but the coating was delicious and a perfect fry. Juicy chicken. The buffalo hot sauce/blue cheese flavors come through great. It's pretty much the taco version of a chicken finger sub. Chorizo 10/10Not a spicy chorizo. Really great flavor and soft meat.Carnitas 8/10Had a tiny bit of spice to it, the meat was a good flavor. Still have no idea what salsa negra is.Shrimp Tacos 8/10Good cook on the shrimp, nice and crispy too. Not a huge fan of the pickled onion, they had a little bite to them if you ate one alone. Avocado and pineapple balanced the heat pretty well.White Rice 10/10First bite I thought this was just plain white rice. Well it sure isn't! A great cilantro lime flavor, and a little salt. Delicious!Black beans 9/10Pretty good beans, just needed a little more salt and flavor in general.

Hombre y Lobo is my go to for Mexican in Buffalo. I love their street style tacos because I can mix and match a few with other menu items. Their drinks are also great, whether it be Margaritas or other favorites of mine like Buffalo Water. The vibe is always great inside and the staff is constantly coming by to check on you or clear your table. It's a great place to sit and spend time with family and friends, or if you are in a hurry to grab a bite quickly when in a hurry. I often stop before Bisons or Sabres games. Go check them out!
