Double cooked pork and pork soup dumplings were outstanding! Very authentic and perfectly spiced.

HomeTaste is hands-down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Buffalo. Everything was bursting with authentic flavor and came out fast, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
I tried several dishes and loved every one:
The Mapo Tofu with Beef was beautifully spicy and savory with that signature numbing Sichuan heat, perfectly balanced with tender beef and silky tofu. The Egg Tofu was delicate, rich, and lightly crisped on the outside, absolute comfort food! Stir-Fried Green Beans and Cabbage are classics, both dishes were simple but incredibly flavorful. The Chongqi Little Noodles were chewy, spicy, though it is a special, my group agreed that it wasn’t a favorite compared to the other dishes. The Fish Soup with Clear Noodles were light, fragrant, and soothing; a great contrast to the spicier plates.
The food came out quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. The space is very small, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you’re planning to dine in, but it adds to the cozy, home-style charm.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavor-packed Chinese cuisine in Buffalo, HomeTaste is an absolute must-visit!

Home Taste is delicious. I love the food here.
Authentic and delicious Chinese food. The Northeastern dishes are excellent, and the lady boss is warm, friendly, and beautiful. The dumplings are handmade, with generous filling and juicy broth. The pickled cabbage is homemade and naturally fermented.

I never write a review but this food was so awful I had to. I'm unable to eat anything with green peppers so my food went right in the trash. My husband took one bite and tossed it in the trash cause it tasted straight like super sweet green pepper goo. Weird they put green peppers in their sesame chicken. Their buns are just filled with their dumpling filling not like any other pork buns I've had around buffalo. I went out of my way to try this place only for it to be an extreme let down. When i called about a refund because of the green pepper issue and how it doesnt say anything about green peppers in the chicken anywhere I was met with a condescending attitude. If you are thinking of trying this place and had any other chinese food anywhere around and liked those places don't try here. It is expensive, a rip off and just not good. You are better off going to Macy's next door.

Just not my speed. Only thing that was bad was the ramen. The meat was tough and the broth was bland. I added salt and chili paste to make it palatable. The General Tso Chicken wasn’t what I was expecting at all. It was a sour sauce and no spice. It didn’t taste bad just not what I wanted. I asked for crispy chicken and it was soggy. Literally one piece of broccoli. Crab Rangoon was good but the sauce was not. I would have taken it back but didn’t want to go back out in the rain.
Delicious authentic Chinese food if you want to try something new. We have been meaning to stop by and were in the area not too long ago. We ordered lamb with cumin and stir fried boo choy. Both were large portions, flavorful, cooked well and delicious. We weren’t sure how the dishes came but they were literally just what was listed in the title. So we ended up sharing for a little more variety. The lamb was juicy and very flavorful. Lots of cumin and cilantro. The book choy was fresh and a nice light palette refresher when paired with the lamb. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.
There are a few tables for dine in. I’m sure they do a ton of take out as well.
They have the best dumplings in the buffalo area in my opinion. All of there food is great but when I am craving authentic dumplings this is where I go and it always hits the spot
Home Taste has authentic family style Chinese food options. This is not your Americanized place with saucy chicken, this is true Chinese food like what I ate in Shanghai. Highly recommend the eggplant, cabbage, cucumber, and lotus root!
