After indulging in Chinese cuisine across Shanghai, Taiwan, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, I consider myself to have a rather discerning palate when it comes to authentic flavors. It's with this background that I wholeheartedly recommend this gem in Elmwood Village for truly exceptional Chinese food. The Kung Pao Chicken here is a standout dish, generously laden with fresh vegetables and served alongside perfectly cooked white rice, capturing the essence of what makes Chinese cuisine so delightful.This establishment primarily caters to take-out, but if you're like me and prefer to savor your meal straight from the kitchen, they offer two tables for dining (but realize there's not atmosphere whatsoever).

Lesion from rainbow six siege was infuriated after I decided not to tip when I ordered white rice. What am I supposed to tip you for? You weren't the one in the dǒulì handpicking my white rice. Pretty good rice though I think I'll be going back soon.

Min CC amt of $10 and a $2 fee so instead of getting 1 pint of white rice I had to get 2 and an eh roll then I didn't tip on the screen because she didn't do anything to deserve the tip. All she did was tap some buttons on a screen. Then she said "you no tip" and I said no and she said, "white skin pig no tip"

I've been going here since I was a child in the 90s and honestly find them to be above average as far as takeout style Chinese restaurants go. They have all the stuff you'd expect and some things you might not expect and they do it very well, all the people who work here have always been very friendly and got the food made fastDietary restrictions: Great for Gluten free diets.

The food is great. I always get the sesame seed chicken with chicken fried rice and an order of chicken wings (can you tell I like chicken?). The lady that sits at the front and takes orders is very sweet and friendly. She said my face is handsome :)Only bad thing I have to say is that the lobby could use a little remodeling, you can tell the place has been around as soon as you step in it.Other wise, great for lunch and dinner if you’re feeling too lazy to cook.

Ordered through Uber eats today 09/18/2023. I got Fried Baby Shrimp, with French Fries, Pt of Egg Drop Soup,and A Homemade Sweet Tea. The shrimp were tasteless, and the soup tasted like hot water with eggs floating in it ? will never patronize again.

Usually order for takeout in person but decided to doordash for the first time & can i say wow. Mind blown completely on how inconsiderate they were with my order they know me as a regular & i considerately leave tips & they looked me in my soul repeated my order just for me to get none of what i ordered correctly & the meat was inedible the rice was soupy worst white rice ive ever had in my life i had to head down to wakiki for better. Im like ok no big deal ill just call in a few for a refund they tried to charge me 180 dollars for doordash back to back 4 hrs after i picked up my order & i havent ordered on doordash for a year. Crazy do not spend your money here i will not be going back.
Another unassuming but great place along Elmwood. The food here was great Anne ready quickly, and the person working was super friendly. Adding it to our list of regular takeout

I can only comment on one dish - the shrimp foo young with fried rice. The rice was a little dull, but at least edible. The foo young has to be the worst I've EVER had. The mini omelettes were just mouthfuls of grease, devoid of any taste of egg. I never thought Chinese food could go so wrong!Based on the dish, the one star I had to give seems way too geneous.
